Insane clutch bro, really well played fight. Not really sure why Ranger needed to be buffed, especially given how much people have been complaining about range recently. As a Barb player it’s kinda joever for me lol.
As a ranger player i can say that ranger class in goblin caves needs buffs and in crypts is fine as is. Sometimes people get upset with rangers but should keep in mind that this class just goes well with teammates around and is really crap in 1v1 scenarios
@@gubi1109 i agree, i predicted that they will probably make ranger the better ranged character now as that makes sense, they did buff cooldowns which i think some people are overeacting its a significant buff but as a ranger player sure ill take it, and the longbows definetely needed a buff im sick n tired of running into these divine bow crafters with quickshot quickfire going in lizard skin with absolutely nothing besides their divine bow just because its easy to craft its really tiring so maybe instead i'll get some longbow users in my games
@@gubi1109 Firmly disagree. For 1v1s you still can just sit cozy at a distance and drain someone's hp at a distance. Only time this falls apart is if someone ambushes you. Ranger is anything but fun to fight against. Warlock and ranger are my most successful solo characters.

The wizard nerf was needed but i have no idea why they buffed ranger AGAIN, i think the only nerf ranger ever received in its entire lifetime was how quickshot worked for longbow and thats it, we clerics still have very few options to catch them if they are running, but approaching them is now even harder thanks to their unnecessary high damage output
Nerfs to ranger I can recall off hand: weapon damage taken off all gear slots, campfires taken from base kit, reduced traps, traps no longer require skill check, traps do less damage, ammo now required to be up kept and no longer infinite, projectiles gain more dropoff and do significantly less damage at longer range,

Yea, I think i'm gonna sit this patch out, i'm feeling some real disconnect from the dev team about the reality of the game vs their perceived reality they balance from. I actually have a lot of fun with a friend in ruins, but when I see the notes it just demotivates me from playing that they're so off base on some things.

Yep. Ranger is literally just a counter to people pushing them in general. the only reason they dont get nerfed, is that its the go to class for new trash players and negative reflex boomers, who skewer the statistics. Unfortunately for us, Ironmace balance exclusively based on statistics and they apply 0 game experience or common sense.
btw you can jump over the hydra in a doorway in almost every case - I had to learn this the slow and painful way but it's so good to know in those horrifying moments. also tasty clip there good work

People cry so much about ranger, it’s really not that bad to play against if you can dodge. Longsword parry should be very high risk high reward
