Daniel is the only guy on UA-cam who focuses more on ones inner self than he does on ones outer self. You can be the best looking man on the planet but if you can’t do these simple things than you don’t deserve to be with a lady. Thanks Daniel!!

Used to do almost what you mentioned but there are certain things that now girls will view you as a simp, example complementing her, opening door and other things i consider showing a girl she is worth more than you which turns them off if you are dating just be aware of what you do.

You wouldn't believe how many guys do not do any of these things nowadays. They might do one or two out of the whole list, but it's not as common as it should be. Guys don't even open my car door on dates. I just find it unattractive and like they don't care. Thanks for showing guys how to actually act the right way when around a woman they like, we need more guys telling other guys how to be a gentleman to a woman.

All the stuff with coats and doors and chairs - honestly that's not very important. Keeping your word, doing what you say you're going to do, getting in touch to apologise about being late or that you can't come BEFOREhand, being polite to everyone - that stuff is gold! Listening with attention, not interrupting, not monopolising the conversation by bragging about your stuff, your job, your money ... yawn!

It's a Controverse opinion. For example some people say, don't let the woman enter first. If she likes attracting the whole attention on the other side of the room, let her enter first.
I think the best way of being a Gentleman is to consider these points and reflect them on lady your are handling with.

I always had a problem, with myself when I was in the presence of women. (this excludes family members or classmates).
    I sensed fear inside me.
    That fear caused anxiety.
My voice got up 2 times higher.
My voice was not confident it was quite low in tone, almost wispery.
And this made myself so dissapointed.
Also, tgis fear made me to:
Act like a child. Speaking to her mother.
Over being compassionate and fearful like a mother is for her little child.
    This was AWFUL!
It not only made myself regret every time when I spoke to wonan.
But also made me angry. Sad. Dissapointed in myself.
And also the ladies. When they heard only my tone of voice, they immediately draw a conclusion.
This is not a real man. He is not confident. He is not brave, fearless, ruly.
And it all happened, because I had an addiction. It was masturbation and porn.
Immediately it changed me, my charactet, my mood. I had less control over my emotions. My taughts, my speech, everithing.
    Porn and masturbation destroys guys!
It took away my creativity, humor and calmness.
It ruined my life. And porn leads also to eternal hell.
Only Christ can stop it. If you have a similar problem, read the Bible and pray to Him.
I know many have my addiction. And I know that it leads to the inability to know girls. To have a relationship. It post pones marriages. It destroys lives.

for dates i can accept that you should go in time for eventual things to happen, especially early on but important through the whole thing. but my dad kept trying to make me get a routine to go to work early enough so if theres an accident on the road then i should still have time to get to work on time.
but if my boss cant accept that im late because of a big accident then screw that workplace..
and no im not talking about a 5-10min accident making me late.. my dad thinks that you should be ready for an accident taking up to an hour and still be on time.. and sure if my work would be super important in a time sensitive way then yes but i work in an industry with machines that only have a daytime shift so me being 5-10 or even 1h late wont affect anyone else i can just stay late instead and he knew that my workplace works like that and that our bosses have said that as long as we do our hours then being late every now and then doesnt matter
sorry for long comment that has just been a frustrating part of my life about the topic of being on time

I am a female and when I saw this video I was curious of how he would portray a “gentleman”. While I did agree with some things, like punctuality and being nice, there was some things that just didn’t sit well with me. Some girls and women are independent. I don’t need a man to take off my coat, help me sit, open doors or carry my stuff. I feel that “gentlemen” is quite an outdated concept. There’s a difference between being a good and nice person and acting like a woman can’t take care of herself.

    • @amyflip
      @amyflip 4 роки тому

I know what you mean. I'm one of those girls who feels that I'm too "independent". however that does not mean that it isn't "nice" or "gentleman-like" when my boyfriend offers to carry my grocery bags or push the chair for me. He didn't need to do them but it's the thought behind it that makes him a gentleman. It just means he cares and he looks out for you. Imagine both of you guys walking side to side and you come to a door, would it be better if he stands there and wait for you to open the door? Or would it be better if he opens the door and let you go in/out first. Being gentleman never goes out of style and I don't think it's ever outdated.

That line I think is when you show your cards (ie the respect given to someone by being a gentleman for them), and then the respect you just gave either being reciprocated via their actions (ie being polite, cordial, timely, pleasant) or not being reciprocated via their actions (ie disrespectful, ungrateful, untimely, disagreeable)
Upon their reactions to you being a gentleman, if you continue on with the gentlemanly behavior after their clear disrespect, it would be considered being a simp. If you continue after they show you respect and appreciation, then you are a gentleman

Unfortunately, most lady I've come across are ego-centric and freakily biased, it's a trend in my country unfortunately these days.
But, that doesn't change who you are... the right lady would appreciate your warmth and you being a gentelmen, for others who don't care, it's complimentary. You are not wrong if you are not appreciated, most times the other party is high AF.

Thank you Daniel. This video shows not only that you have done appropriate research, but that you were raised correctly. Good Job! I experienced some of the rudest situations at a Holiday dinner, where a 25-year-old woman belched as loud and long as she could, while her husband invited over his buddy, who (along with the wife) used the foulest language in front of elders and people they had never met. I want to liken their behavior to that of the Beverly Hillbillies (please google), but not even these folks would speak in this fashion. The Hillbillies were poorly educated, but they were raised right, and had Godly manners.
