I grew up in the ‘60s and I remember always admiring the black high tops. Those were the cool shoes. Always wanted them, but Mom always bought Keds. My parents were very frugal; PF Flyers must have been more expensive.

Just bought me a pair of PF Flyers. They are the "Archival Reissue" editions. Very classic shoes. Love them and I will buy more.
