Yeah I am a college student, I wash my clothes in a bucket after retuning home and I store that water in a large bucket so that we can use that water for flushing the toilet. I think its a very effective way of reusing partially contaminated waste water. Also while washing our car my dad uses 2 buckets of water instead of using a water pipe and I thing it helps saving more water.

I am living in Delhi where I observed in last 5-10 years, the drinking water bottle supply is become a new business here and about 80-90% people are buying drinking water bottle or they have water filters in there house and remaining people are unable to do something and drinking unfiltered water that make them ill... I have one solution which can may contribute in this journey. 1. Now a days our village's are too much developed literally converted into city's. We have to stop that types of development only develop required things in villages not too much concrete builds are needed for villages and plant more trees there as well. 2. We can also do something like in build the roads, we will use the plastic and wastage products to make a sustainable Highways that can easily pass a water to the group surface. Just an idea but we can try. 3. For water harvesting encourage farms to make Khet talavadi, which means farm pond in local dialect. There are many small ideas we can share to help the people to solve this type of problem which can may be too much serious in future.

Thanks to Art of Living for their incessant efforts they do in the social projects. When I was participating in WCF, which they had near the Yamuna, that river was stinking as hell!!! I was thinking we have called people from so many countries to this event, what will they think of this stinking river which is supposed to be holy? Why is the governments not regulating all this strictly! I remember Guruji saying, this is to bring attention to the sad state of the rivers
one most effective way to save water is " using alarm sensor in water tank " . It should be compulsory so that after reaching certain level it automatically cuts water supply.
Or you can also add fees per litre water usage on government supplied water.Just like electric bill , use water bill . The people using government supplied water doesn't even bother to close the tap water. Jab mei meri aunt ke ghar mein bathroom ka Pani bandh karne gaya tha unhone bola pareshan mat ho wo time cal ka pani hai .
Borewell are almost common in everywhere if you dig a borewell at some point you can dig a one more hole at 5 meter to 7 meters away from your borewell of like 50ft or 60ft were you can put only PVC pipes just put something on it like net for the safety purpose . The monsoon rain will directly go into this pipes. This can help your ground level water to be filled in the rainy season.

Another problem is people don't know where their boundaries end. If you will ask anyone to stop wasting water/electricity/food will be like "It's my choice whatever I do with it". I have seen this a lot of time in Delhi about electricity because it's free. Even in my school students switch on lights even when it's a sunny day and there is more than enough light entering the class from windows, they are just like "We are paying the fees".

I'm from a small hilltown called Kalimpong, people here are used to a lifestyle of minimum usage of water cus there's always a water crisis going on, we buy water at least once in a week.. one thing I noticed about the cities is that I saw the people wasting so much water that I was astonished..I still continue with my way of using water even though I live a city now cus I know its value

This video is totally worth watching in present scenario. I work with the government and therefore I get to see what actually is happening in implementation of policies. But unfortunately, consents are being given for using ground water without any sincerity. Policies just stay on paper as a formality. Residential areas have illegal boring even in cities like jaipur where water is scarce.Of course as a citizen we should take steps in saving water . but people who are working in government organisations are also required to take this matter seriously. I m an officer ,but single handedly i cannot make change , everyday I see the problems are dealt with utmost vagueness. 90 % of Indiana are ignorant. I request everyone to take steps .

Maybe you can take Inspiration from the American Constitution where the Founding Fathers have thought through this Ideology. 2. Free Market Economies and Classical Liberalism. This Ideology is widespread across the USA and using this you can crush ideologies such as socialism and communism. I've seen some of your videos where you mention how governments can help businesses directly but this approach may not always work and can lead to bad results. ReasonTV has multiple examples where this might not work. And for Large and Diverse countries like India and USA Classical Liberalism might be the Best Approach to adopt. America has already adopted it and we can see how powerful its Economy is. 3. Bring in Economists or GeoPolitical Experts etc to your channel to discuss any subject. Then summarize the whole content in another video. 4. Explaining Indian Philosophy and Ideas such as Vedanta, Upanishads, ArthaSastra, Bhagavad Gita, Jain, Buddhist, Charvaka, Yoga, Meditation etc. I think you can emphasize on things like how far ahead they were when compared to other Literatures for the time they were written. Many think Indian philosophy is not so great but it's actually far advanced for its time and even good for now. I would suggest you to once look into it. Even Scientists like Einstein, Robert Oppenheimer (Manhattan Project Chief) etc read Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads and this had a huge Impact on their lives. And also people who've read these Books have had an overall positive Impact on their lives. 5. Explaining about Indian Historical Figures, their achievements and what lessons we can learn from them such as Chanakya, Chandra Gupta Maurya, Ashoka, Guru Gobind Singh, Maratha Kings (Guerilla Warfare), Vijayanagar Empire, Chola Dynasty, Adi Shankaracharya, Swami Vivekananda, Gupta Empire, Gautam Buddha, Mahavir Jain, Bodhi Dharma. This can make people proud about the Country and increase Nationalism. I know this is a long list but I think you can look into some of these.

Like earlier i.e. haves and haves not so the concept came to distribute wealth among all the ppl equally so that wealth can't be concentrated in once hand only. I'm from Rajasthan, In our area we have constructed mini wells just in front of our house that are connected by a pipeline from roof so when it's raining all the water of roof will be collected in that mini well so pure rain water will be harvested for Summer use.,
One query that's confusing my mind is that... Plastic is such a big hazard in today's world So people are trying to make biodegradable goods to prevent plastic use But think about it if all plastic products get replaced by biodegradable What will happen to our trees?
Those who are constructed new house or renovating their old ones can construct a separate water tank where water from bath tub kitchen sink washing machine (except flush) can be collected and filtered with basic filters and reused for like washing cars or terrace or mobbing floors and in flush etc We could also use the flush tanks which have a wash basin over it and all that water could be used again ! SMALL EFFORTS COULD BRING BIG CHANGE!! NEED OF THE HOUR IS COMMUNITY ACTION ‼️‼️ CLOCK IS TICKING SOON THERE WOULD BE TIME WHEN WE WON'T BE LEFT WITH THESE OPTIONS AND OUR GENERATIONS WOULD HAVE TO SUFFER EVEN SEVERE CONSEQUENCES ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

While on my way to home from college . I see lots and of pollutants released in river water ,every one can see it but we are helpless as a student we can't take action against these people . Even government bodies ignore them so who are we . We try our best to save rivers but day by day the number of these bad peoples is increasing and so pollution. I have seen alot of places in delhi, where people just open taps of free drinking water provided by government, i tried to close many of them but most of the taps have some kind of problem, government is providing free water in delhi, but not looking a bit on how we use it, if we somehow manage those taps, then we can save alot of water

Your video shows sensible points on water but problem is at the consumer level after Green revolution we forced to consume more water consuming grains like White rice,wheat & sugarcane for liquor industry. We should move to organic foods and to millets(which doesn't need more water). Unless consumer changes the habit of consuming it will not benefit anything whichever way we try to save the water. Whether it maybe 1000 rivers or 100 reservoirs will not be sufficient. For more about millets & it's benefits refer Dr Khadar Vali from Mysuru.

Yeah I am a college student, I wash my clothes in a bucket after retuning home and I store that water in a large bucket so that we can use that water for flushing the toilet. I think its a very effective way of reusing partially contaminated waste water. Also while washing our car my dad uses 2 buckets of water instead of using a water pipe and I thing it helps saving more water.

I have one solution which can may contribute in this journey.
1. Now a days our village's are too much developed literally converted into city's. We have to stop that types of development only develop required things in villages not too much concrete builds are needed for villages and plant more trees there as well.
2. We can also do something like in build the roads, we will use the plastic and wastage products to make a sustainable Highways that can easily pass a water to the group surface. Just an idea but we can try.
3. For water harvesting encourage farms to make Khet talavadi, which means farm pond in local dialect.
There are many small ideas we can share to help the people to solve this type of problem which can may be too much serious in future.
everyone talks about saving water, but no one takes seriousness where 8,52,000 trees are being cut in Nicobar islands. Abhi & Niyu please talk seriously about this. Its way too important. just imagine the amount of oxygen from so many trees being cut.

Thanks to Art of Living for their incessant efforts they do in the social projects. When I was participating in WCF, which they had near the Yamuna, that river was stinking as hell!!! I was thinking we have called people from so many countries to this event, what will they think of this stinking river which is supposed to be holy? Why is the governments not regulating all this strictly! I remember Guruji saying, this is to bring attention to the sad state of the rivers
one most effective way to save water is " using alarm sensor in water tank " . It should be compulsory so that after reaching certain level it automatically cuts water supply.
Or you can also add fees per litre water usage on government supplied water.Just like electric bill , use water bill .
The people using government supplied water doesn't even bother to close the tap water.

Borewell are almost common in everywhere if you dig a borewell at some point you can dig a one more hole at 5 meter to 7 meters away from your borewell of like 50ft or 60ft were you can put only PVC pipes just put something on it like net for the safety purpose . The monsoon rain will directly go into this pipes. This can help your ground level water to be filled in the rainy season.

Another problem is people don't know where their boundaries end. If you will ask anyone to stop wasting water/electricity/food will be like "It's my choice whatever I do with it". I have seen this a lot of time in Delhi about electricity because it's free. Even in my school students switch on lights even when it's a sunny day and there is more than enough light entering the class from windows, they are just like "We are paying the fees".

But unfortunately, consents are being given for using ground water without any sincerity. Policies just stay on paper as a formality. Residential areas have illegal boring even in cities like jaipur where water is scarce.Of course as a citizen we should take steps in saving water . but people who are working in government organisations are also required to take this matter seriously. I've seen some of your videos where you mention how governments can help businesses directly but this approach may not always work and can lead to bad results. ReasonTV has multiple examples where this might not work. And for Large and Diverse countries like India and USA Classical Liberalism might be the Best Approach to adopt. America has already adopted it and we can see how powerful its Economy is.
3. Bring in Economists or GeoPolitical Experts etc to your channel to discuss any subject. Then summarize the whole content in another video.

Explaining Indian Philosophy and Ideas such as Vedanta, Upanishads, ArthaSastra, Bhagavad Gita, Jain, Buddhist, Charvaka, Yoga, Meditation etc. I think you can emphasize on things like how far ahead they were when compared to other Literatures for the time they were written. Many think Indian philosophy is not so great but it's actually far advanced for its time and even good for now. I would suggest you to once look into it. Even Scientists like Einstein, Robert Oppenheimer (Manhattan Project Chief) etc read Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads and this had a huge Impact on their lives. And also people who've read these Books have had an overall positive Impact on their lives.

Explaining about Indian Historical Figures, their achievements and what lessons we can learn from them such as Chanakya, Chandra Gupta Maurya, Ashoka, Guru Gobind Singh, Maratha Kings (Guerilla Warfare), Vijayanagar Empire, Chola Dynasty, Adi Shankaracharya, Swami Vivekananda, Gupta Empire, Gautam Buddha, Mahavir Jain, Bodhi Dharma. This can make people proud about the Country and increase Nationalism.

Best suggestions ever. But a problem is there with your one suggestion. As socialist economic allows equal sharing among the ppl. Like earlier i.e. haves and haves not so the concept came to distribute wealth among all the ppl equally so that wealth can't be concentrated in once hand only. In our area we have constructed mini wells just in front of our house that are connected by a pipeline from roof so when it's raining all the water of roof will be collected in that mini well so pure rain water will be harvested for Summer use.,

Plastic is such a big hazard in today's world
So people are trying to make biodegradable goods to prevent plastic use
But think about it if all plastic products get replaced by biodegradable
What will happen to our trees?
Those who are constructed new house or renovating their old ones can construct a separate water tank where water from bath tub kitchen sink washing machine (except flush) can be collected and filtered with basic filters and reused for like washing cars or terrace or mobbing floors and in flush etc
We could also use the flush tanks which have a wash basin over it and all that water could be used again !

I have seen alot of places in delhi, where people just open taps of free drinking water provided by government, i tried to close many of them but most of the taps have some kind of problem, government is providing free water in delhi, but not looking a bit on how we use it, if we somehow manage those taps, then we can save alot of water

1 suggestion for all builders, contractors and healthy minds if they could attach a pipe on thier terrace to make the rainwater go directly 30-60ft down the ground then the water crisis could be reduced.

Not only me ,my family is also trying their best... I can suggest one trick to all the people.. you can use a dirty water after washing clothes to wash your cars tyres , shoes , varanda and many more...

•WE CAN LEAVE SMALL HOLES OF DIAMETER 2-3 METERS ON OUR GROUND OR GARDEN TO RECHARGE GROUND WATER .
•GOVERNMENT CAN PLANT TREES LEAVE GAPS ON DIVIDERS TO RECHARGE THE GROUND WATER.
•WE SHOULD SPREAD AWARENESS NOT TO POLUTE ANY RIVER BY THROWING GARBAGES IN IT THINKING IT WILL GO TO THE SEA.
•FACTORIES SHOULD PURIFY THE WATER BEFORE RELEASING.
•PEOPLE CAN MAKE SMALL RESERVOIRS ON THEIR TERRECE TO COLLECT RAIN WATER.
•THE RAIN WATER SHOULD BE DIVERTED TOWARDS THE NEAREST RIVER OR POND TO SAVE IT.
Your video shows sensible points on water but problem is at the consumer level after Green revolution we forced to consume more water consuming grains like White rice,wheat & sugarcane for liquor industry. We should move to organic foods and to millets(which doesn't need more water). Unless consumer changes the habit of consuming it will not benefit anything whichever way we try to save the water. Whether it maybe 1000 rivers or 100 reservoirs will not be sufficient.

Rivers of India are almost all polluted with chemical sewage waste. Wells have dried up in Punjab, Haryana and rajasthan areas already about 23 years ago. Underground water levels have gone down to dangerous levels and northern India will soon become a desert.

Made two changes yesterday:
1.purifier ka rejected water hamara seedha naali me jata tha, i made a container beneath the purifier and hell lots of water, we have wasted till now.
2. Installed a water tank bell.
My Mother Everyday Uses the Waste water To Give it to the Plants in her Small Homemad Garden Or Gives it to the maid for cleaning the House, From Learning From my mother, I have also started Using this Method in other things
