I wish that was a real stat differentiation, but I'm browsing through the MLB's glossary, and I don't think it is. Seems like he would get the same old regular "assist" stat that a SS gets for throwing to 1B.

Jo Adell couldnt catch a ball unless it was delivered to his glove by a stork. There have been times where balls pop out of his glove on an attempt to catch a fly-out. He also has a difficult time running the most efficient route to catch a ball. He makes fielding harder on himself.
