i dont use reddit anymore but i remember back in 2018 redditors had that "we're not like other sites, we're different/better" mentality and it was just a echochamber of the same memes and phrases glad to see it hasn't changed one bit
Honestly drones have always felt really out-of-place in this game considering how few items actually interact with allies in the first place. Out of all the options, the equipment drone is probably the only one I actually find interesting, so it would be cool if they took that concept and applied it to other drones as well. Like instead of just spending money on a drone, you can give it an item to make it actually maybe accomplish something. And when it dies, it drops the corresponding colored scrap. So you could use them as a sort of crappy, low-throughput scrapper as well as allies in combat. Dunno how useful it would be, but it would at least actually interface with the main strategic element of RoR2 (item management).
One idea I've had was some kind of new interactable, you give it an item similar to scrappers, and the item becomes "packaged", then, whenever you buy a drone it takes all of your "packaged" items. Probably very few niche uses, but any way to interact with drones like that would be pretty neat.
9:45 I once got 2 order shrines, 1 tc in one run and right in the next run got 2 tcs, 1 order shrine. I've never really cared too hard about newts in stage 2 but it's changed since that harrowing experience
Yesterday i got a TC drone up until the victory screen (E2) for the first time in 400+ hours of playing this game, i don't think it ever survived more than 2 stages, it should probably be an achievement
My only complaint about Umbral phase 4 is the acceleration values on two characters out of the whole roaster. But that's a hard coded thing so complaining about it is like complaining about running too fast as Merc and dying instantly, it's just the game mechanic and there's nothing you can do other than being mindful of it
13:15 I feel like what they should do with gunner turrets is make them like a hybrid with Engineer's Stationary and Mobile turrets; esentially keep then as regular turrents that don't inherit your items but make it so that they move whenever there isn't an enemy within their detection range. Otherwise they'll stop and shoot anything before resuming to move to where your survior is on the map, albeit speed of Engi's mobile turrets w/o movement items to aid them. Either that or give them a second upgrade tier (similar to how you can hit a shrine of chance twice) where for a extra bit of cash you can give them the ability to move like Engi's Mobile turrets. Admittedly they'd still suck in both scenarios but at least they wouldn't feel completely useless.
Hey Race! Funnily enough, I've actually had a run end on Stage 3 before, on RPD, because my teleporter spawned in the closed container, and it was a time when I didn't know how to clip through the map (still don't know) so I just had to manually end the run because I had no way to get into the crate. This was before the Devotion Update, I don't remember how long ago it was tho.
I know how streamers and youtubers love repeated questions, but what mod do you use that makes scrappers go faster, and what mod adds to the timer when that happens?
I'm currently at a phase where I think regular Mithrix is bullshit so I might not like Umbral if I try it now lol I personally like when things are hard but I honestly just think the way vanilla Mithrix is designed right now is disproportionately unfair towards survivors with no mobility skills like Engineer and Captain. It's one thing when something is hard and it's another thing when the most optimal strategies to consistently beat a boss are so passive and detach yourself from the actual fight in some ways
i feel like vanilla phase 4 isn’t unfair but rather unfun. it is very easy to consistently beat phase 4, but it just isn’t fun when that consistent and easy strategy involves hiding behind a pillar and waiting
on topic of umbral and phase 4 being "unfair", i think the current update is unfair, like big hitbox characters like rex cannot avoid the shards mithrix is shooting at you while also avoiding the pizzas, the shards do so much damage and will always hit you if you slow down, i like all the other new phase changes, but phase 4 is just bs in the current one with large survivors.
that thumbnail goes so hard

Reddit in a nutshell, it's like twitter but instead of genuinely brain-damaged individuals its egotistical pricks. Basically normie 4-chan.
Really sick thumbnail, this is a masterpiece!
What a wholesome 100 big chungus Keanu Reeves video. Take my upvote, for you sir have won the internet for today!
many updoots to you fellow redditor! r/wholesome
Keanu "the big chungus" Reeves has no sympathy for a redditor in need

21:53 you don't understand he was actually just asserting dominance on mithrix with his 4 opals

The TC-280 tax money obviously goes towards military spending

Bruh the thumbnail made me think that this was a new ror2 teaser
I can't believe you defeated Umbral Mithrix with the second hand shame of oblivious internet user culture

On topic of gunner turrets: the teleporter turrets mod gives them a use case...
Thumbnail looks like War Without Reason cover art lmao

Exchange Changes, ReduceRecycler, FasterInteractableBalancer. All mods are in video desc
@leetzabach5793 Thanks!

u should do a run in which u try to get least achievements possible. love ur stuff
we need a mod that lets you pet the BG.
Hey! Can you do another modded character video with the Celestial Tank mod?
I thought you played Ultrakill because the thumbnail look like a level😂

Sadly, my dad is one of those Elon Musk defenders. He is fun at parties for sure.

Can someone explain why my loader hits upwards and yours doesnt? Genuine question
if you made a mod, what changes or fixes would you make to the game?
increasing the difficulty of enemies and making opals and spaces either green or red rarity
@@RacesVideos yea i agree on spaces being rarer
if you could, how would you modify mithrix for your own runs to make them harder without them feeling "not fun" to fight?
He already did that with Umbral wdym
As someone who is still learning umbral, phase 4 is giga-bullshit
what is that loader skin
Attack on titan reference!! The clash of the titans is like Eren vs reiner (mithrix is is reiner cause yk what happens to reiner)
It could also be a reference to Clash of The Titans
