It is not apart of the DCEU. It is however a part of the DC Arrowverse which is an shared universe of DC tv shows that started with Arrow (2012-2020) And grew to include The Flash (2014-present), Supergirl (2015-2021,) Legends of Tomorrow (2015-present), Black Lightning (2018-2021), Stargirl (2020-present) Batwoman (2019-present) and now Superman and Lois (2021-present) with more shows in development and more shows being aprt of the shared multiverse thinks to the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event from 2019/2020 season.
In pretty much every iteration, Lois' dad is a general. Although most of the time, the relationship between General Lane and Superman is very strained at best; the general doesn't trust Superman because he is a) an alien and b) has the power to wipe out the planet and the military if he wanted to. Kind of refreshing to see their take on this where General Lane at least has a decent working relationship with Superman, probably cuz he realizes Superman could help him out in his job.
In every version I know (mostly the movies and Smallville), Lois' dad is a general. Great reaction. Too bad you mirrored the picture. I'll want to see your other material.
i was just laughing when you before the reaction seemed kind of down due to it being superman again, and then during and after just smiling and happy like the rest of us.
I used to love the Arrowverse on the CW. Arrow was excellent for the first 3 to 4 seasons, and so was The Flash for the first 3. I highly recommend those. Unfortunately, they both have kinda floundered after that.

Arrows final season I found very enjoyable. They at least did him right.
