We just updated the Wits & Wagers packaging and included some extra green chips that are worth 25 points each. I doubt that you will run out of poker chips now! This latest version should be available in stores starting in November 2009. YOu can recognize it because the tagline one the new box is "The Most Award-Winning Party Game in History". I hope this helps. Cheers! Dominic Designer of Wits & Wagers and Say Anything
This is probably one of the best games to come out in the last 10 years. Not to be eclipsed by North Star Games "Say Anything" which is also highly recomended. Your gaming friends will like it and your NON gaming friends will like it too. You can teach people to play in a couple minutes and have fun playing for hours and hours.
Another great review, Tom. I'll have you know thanks to your reviews I have a great collection of board games in my closet and I shall be adding this one to my collection as well. Thanks!
With this game, I highly recommend getting your metal case of poker chips out, because you have a decent chance of running out of the chips that Wits n Wagers includes. Also, I know of two other people besides myself who had to buy new dry erase markers, as the ones included were duds out of the box. No big deal at all. The game is fantastic! Don't play it if you're playing with a crowd of people that just wants to chat because it takes forever to move through the questions.
I was in the market for a new board game, because frankly, I was tired of Monopoly(monotonous) and Risk (kids crashed). I ended up watching this review and bought the game based on it. I gotta say it was a lot of fun and I'm glad I went with this version and not the family one. We do play with younger kids (10-16) and some questions can be lost on them, but for the most part they can keep up. Thank you.
Nice job with this design. It pleases me to see mere mortals given a chance to 'compete' with trivia gods such as I. I don't usually buy expansions for games, but trivia games need as many as possible. So: more, more, more
You should be able to. You just need questions with a number for an answer that someone in your group has a shot at answering. Just make sure the answers are CORRECT. ;)
I hate trivia games (I'm more of a strategy nut,) I just don't get the joy of winning from them. This game, on the other hand, is awesome. Between this and Smarty Party, it's all the trivia games I need to play.
"This is a game where people are gonna be laughing and having a good time TOGETHER" LOL as opposed to them running to the other room to laugh alone?? lol!
@@ExBeeOne Apparently, my point went over your head - I find it odd he had to emphasize "together" because if you're already in a group, of course you're laughing together - why make a point to say "together"? If anyone is being redundant here, it isn't me.
Nah, it didn't. Not much of a point thou? I just didn't understand the need for you to point it out. Felt like the usual kinda online rant "LOL" you misspoke, Tom "lol!" So what? Who cares? The meaning was still pretty obvious? In this game, you get to laugh together, as opposed to at each other. But you go right ahead.

Yes, TOGETHER. As opposed to when you are posting reduntant comments like yours, where you laugh ALONE.

@@ExBeeOne It wasn't a "rant," just thought his redundancy was funny. That's it.
