This is a good video; I needed to see this up close. I know there's concern about the hair locking, but I need my braids to last another month or close to it. I'm returning to the office Monday so I need them to look fresh.
@@1220tonya Hi, after moisturizing/oiling the scalp and new growth/braids, I only slightly twisted them and then wrapped my head with a scarf so the braids could lay flat. It didn't last long with working out, so I used colorful headbands for work. I was able to stretch the braids. Hope this helped. 😀

Personally I try to keep them in from 6-8 weeks
I keep it in for 3 months max
