She turned out so very lovely and darling. I wish there were more anthropomorphic animal bjds with paws. Unfortunately most children in the US find dolls like that as unsettling. There was one line of cat and dog dolls but they were so short lived that they didn't even reach the state I live in.

I personally prefer to paint the pupil on the surface, simply because my dolls are inspired by my illustration style, so I like them to have a sort of drawn/2d quality to them in some ways 🙂
I still think you would make an awesome version of Beatrix Potter’s Mrs.Tabitha Twitchit and her kittens!!! Merely because you are such a fantastic artist!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm self-taught! I've just done a lot of research over the years, both on the Internet and looking through books. The main thing is years of practice to refine the many different techniques. I found sculpting was the biggest learning curve for me as I had never tried to sculpt before. Good luck :)

Have you ever thought about using resin to make the eyes so you an set the pupil deeper and create more depth?
