I honestly don’t know why other people don’t like valentine. It was actually the first song I heard off of the cross and what got me into justice in the first place.
i mean even justice ignores valentine. There has not been one live implementation of it any form or anything. it showed up on cross and dropped off the face of the earth. even carpates and presence have their fans.
this is utterly incredible. Newjack combines four of my favorite artists of all time (Daft Punk, Justice, Hideki Naganuma, and Home [don't think i didn't hear that "Pee Is Stored In The Balls" in there]) and slaps SO hard.
I’ve been wanting to mash those two! Turns out the reason I could hear it so clearly in my head is because I had heard it here before and forgotten! I will have to check out KryptoDigital’s original version as well!
Sampling tracks that sampled other tracks into it's own sample track album so future artists can sample your sample album for their new sample album. Well done unironically!
Did anyone else notice the filtered “Harder Better Faster Stronger” in D.A.N.C.E? Edit 1: Just found that DVNO has a sample of “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!” by ABBA! Edit 2: Steam Machine in One Minute To Midnight!?!? Edit 3: Beverly Hills C*ck from PASWG in Newjack!?!?!?! (Holy shit these remixes are LAYERED!)

these mixes are amazing. to name a few Waters of Nazareth has never hit as hard Genesis captures the tone of the album extremely well while still having that darker theme of cross. Newjack has great incorporation of daft punk, and samples from other songs that make it just the better (the FNF bit surprised me but was welcomed) One minute to midnight adds a nice bow on the album with finesse. the only track i felt was starkly different was stress, though ii really appreciate how it sticks to the name of the song and goes 110% on the anxiety and paranoia.

Newjack's transition felt like getting slapped with a fish. In a good way. Seriously, suddenly switching to Endless from Friday Night Funkin's SonicEXE mod, with BF included? Sheer madness.
Damn, Project Discovery was great but this is just next level. Fav tracks: Newjack, Ttthhee Ppaarrttyy, DVNO and also that Close To Me sample in Phantom pt. II was awesome
Man, it feels like it's been a whirlwind of Pluff content in the last month and a half, and I love every second. Keep making these godlike mashups, my guy!
this sounds like the world's funkiest mental breakdown Genesis blew me away, but as soon as I heard the first *TA-* in Let There Be Light, I knew I was in for a fucking ride. pluff delivering another fucking thrasher of an album as per usual. holy SHIT. amazing work.
I knew NewJack would be amazing, But that Robot Rock's kick and Da Funk's melody are amazing. Well done JaBiBiXD ! Well done to all 3 of you for those amazing sounds !
This shit was a HARD banger Pluff. I think Gaspard and Xavier would like this. You've captured a good portion of their rock opera vibe and managed to translate it to different genres. If you ever decide to do more Justice stuff, I would recommend the extended mix of Helix. It has a ton of potential.
I see someone opted for A Cross The Universe for part of the material. Good job! (Edited comments below) --- My only MAJOR grief with this is that the original album is mixed so to be a one-take album and this album doesn't do that. Genesis and Let There Be Light start off with that impression but it goes into singles from there. I don't believe such a concept could have been executed, though, without going through all the samples and microsamples Justice used, and then having to go to Cubase. Overall, this was a good homage to a POWERFUL "disco opera" and it had a lot of good choices made for the project.
One of the greatest Electronic Albums of all time remixes by two of the greatest Mashup Artists of our time? Hell yes to that Beautiful reimaginings and mashes of these amazing tracks, production and mixes are so stellar, so crisp, beautiful transitions, these tracks hit so hard. Ingenious ideas too, I mean Let There be Light and Takyon? Now that's a certified banger right there. The D.A.N.C.E Remix? Out of this world. Newjack with Da Funk and Robot Rock Stems? Sick. Phantom feels like cruising through the night with sunglasses on or just living the nightlife in a bangin club, whereas Phantom Pt. II just makes me feel straight up invincible. Valentine x Be Fine is such a sick idea, had me smiling all the way through. TthhEe PPartyy just feels like the natural sequel to the original, Keshas voice is too perfect on it. Stress once again lives up to it's name and the constant build-up is amazing. Waters of Nazareth sounds straight-up apocalyptic. And One Minute to Midnight, the original being my personal favourite...what an amazing closer, mixing it with Love Lockdown is such a good idea and the whole thing has this perfect feeling of finality to it. Amazing work, incredible experience.
New Jack is the best kind of insanity, then Phantom and Phantom pt II are absolutely amazing. That chunk of the album feels like it's massaging my brain.
It was really cool. Some of my favorites on this one were D.A.N.C.E. and One Minute to Midnight. I think even some of the songs on here were better than their original versions, like Valentine and The Party. Good work, pluff. hopefully project audio-video disco next?
Now I'll admit that when this came out, I hadn't listened to the original album. I then did so and found it to be quite good and now that I listened to this one. I just can't stop myself from going back here since it's amazing.
