Mini Cooper Media Package - Bluetooth Audio Setup

Audio keeps disappearing even though Bluetooth is connected to your phone ? Try this tutorial.
Hopefully this tutorial help fellow Mini Owners to enable Audio when their phones are already connected to Bluetooth but cannot stream audio. I personally think the process needs a review by Mini as it shouldn't be any different that connecting my phone to a bluetooth headset.

Yup, this is me with a 2015 mini roadster! Very frustrating! Says it came with connect package… if only I could work out how. Any and all help will be warmly revived 😬

Mine keeps not working. I have to connect bluetooth and then play the radio and then click on the bluetooth source again for it to recognise. Its so annoying.

if you flick left with your phone selected it’ll allow you to play music my problem is the little music logo is on and everything but my phone just doesn’t play anything. it works for other phones just not mine. i’ve tried forgetting bluetooth and removing the phone it just… literally doesn’t work lol

Hi, I just bought a 2012 Mini Cooper, the bluetooth only has capability for phone not audio. Can I update the software in order to get bluetooth audio, specifically to use my itunes? Help! Or is it only thru aux?

Habibi Cem It should since this is just a standard Bluetooth functionality. Based on following link, you can connect Bluetooth but with limited functionality. Not sure what that means:
