@@MatthewNadeau. I would say first is to recognize what extra words you’re saying. It’s great you made a video so you can examine it and rehearse your pitch. When those “ums” come up take a short pause, then continue what you’re saying. I work in sales and when I started to realize how much i stutter and say extra words I started to take a pause. It felt awkward for me at times but eventually it led to me being more comfortable and confident in what I say without such “hiccups”
explain what value you’d bring to him with managing those assets for him i.e Frees up time for him to attend to more important tasks or who ever does it; etc.
@@MatthewNadeau. My advice would be make it sound like you really care. If you were in that guy’s shoes, what would you want to hear from a cold caller? You’d want clear enunciation, keeping it short and sweet, explain clearly the value you bring for him, and say “please” and “thank you” and “if you don’t mind me asking” things like that
