What's my story? An engineer, in love with his job, started teaching on the side. Got lucky. Impacted 1000s of lives. Had to finally leave his job to increase the impact surface area. Raised $5M funding to fix education. Is learning day and day about startups and building a valuable product.
How is it going? A decade of engineering helps in systems thinking and product building. Learning about Strategy, Marketing, People Management, and Finance on the go.
What am I building? Today, 25 million Indians prepare for government job entrance exams. They do it for years together. The probability of success is less than 1% but they still do it. Why? For the lack of a structured alternative to launch their white-collar career. I am building Invact to bridge this gap.
How? Follow me to know, it's a long story. I am telling it in parts every day.
That's how a senior developer should guide us,well done sir respect++
Someway i knew this one year back and used to tell my friends and they used to think I’m fooling them. Someone finally came into youtube and shared the truth!
This is also happens with me
Even after being exposed to this it's pretty hard to follow this route since everyone around you is persuing dsa for placements.
@@sparshmecwan2962 I suggest, do dsa for two years as much as you can then start getting into development. Doing DSA is useless if you don't do any dev also doing only dsa is the most useless thing one can do in his/her life. Read that again.
@@AnshumanBisoyi nah bro i'm gonna stick to dev. I seriously can't do DSA also im in the end of my second year so no time left too :)
@@sparshmecwan2962 Yes no issues.
I am 7 year experience in industry and this is real talk folks. Really good help Tanay Bhaiya. I am just loving your channel more and more with straight talks like this.
sir what's your tech stack
You look like the only genuine success story who has really achieved what he talks about. Your way of presenting and answering questions is so practical and to the point. Your sole purpose is to teach us and guide us in the right direction. I feel so confident every time i watch your videos. Huge respect to you Tanay Sir from Pakistan 🙏❣
Bhaiya you have made a wonderful impact on my coding journey, I always wanted to be a UI developer but because so much rush about DSA, I couldn't give proper time to my development skill but now for last 2 months I'm consistently working on my front end skills and making projects.
Thank you for that🙏
bhaiya in which platform you are learning development
Thank you for sharing this. Made my day.
@@tanaypratap ❤️❤️
@perfect coder Brother pick anyone course and just complete it,
But I recommend Udemy because there instructor are more experienced (according to my observation). Remember no course is perfect you have to give efforts from your side.
Pick one and complete it to the very end that's it.
@@akashddeepchitransh4537bhai same, I am learning front end and currently learning react.
Which tech stack are you learning right now?
Tanay sir's content is like big brother advice. Not towards hyped created by market. Thanks to myself who discovered your channel and love computer science & web engineering because of creator like you. by the way, I'm using i3 & 4GB configured dell laptop
Mazza aa gaya bhayya.
Bhayya can v make Front-end project by watching videos by understanding line by line as well
At last you post this video on your channel , this gives me more comfort than finding this in others channel. Thanks Bhaiya for this video.😊😊😊
Laptop: MacBook Pro
Thank you Tanay Pratap for getting some time and making this video, I’m fronted developer has 4+ years of exp from Canada. I daily think that without DS & Algo it’s not possible to work in this comp, but you clear my doubts thank you so much 🙏
This video should break the internet 💯💯💯💯 Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for making this video, that’s very insightful ❤
Dear sir, thank you so much for encouraging such kind of motivation and thinking.
Sir. I am going on the way what you are mentioning here. I am really happy to hear you..
you are a pro marketer, plugging microsoft and cisco in every goddam video is really a skill... Salute
Edit: But I Like your videos alot. Mast advice dete ho yaar aap.
Sir I have seen lots of UA-cam videos but your video is totally different from others
Thanks to aware us to the reality
Tanay sir, if it weren't for you I would never stop beating up myself for not focusing on DSA, even though I love solving DSA problems I'm too much interested and involved in learning react ecosystem.
Amazing!! Tanay sir. 😍
A great video which helped me to clear the dought of dsa
Simply perfect. Thanks!
Knowledgeable video. I am using MSI moder 14 laptop. It's fast & smooth for dev.
Thank you so much once again. Just a question, which companies follow the best and modern practices when it comes to frontend? I mean which have less legacy code but working on something modern and interesting?
Sir mai frontend me interested hun ...apka video dekhkr lgta h mai bhi faang me jaa skta hun..apka video dekhkr sukoon milta h ...❤️❤️
Very good and insightful Tanmay. Can you please make a video for people from non science background for how they should start their software engineering and development journey which also covers underlying mathatics and statistics concept which ultimately make them job ready. I know it will be a long journey but it will be worth taking it if we want to make a career transition.
Thanks
Sehi time pe sehi vdo milgayi.... Thank u bhaiya...😇
I would say the content is a gem ..I am a working as a. SDE so the word completely are true...
Got to know your channel gew days ago but watched all the video great content
Great knowledge shared.....important points discussed
your communication skills are awesome!
Let me tell you this is one of the real truths. I work at Paytm as a Tech Lead and no one asked me any direct DSA questions in any of the interviews. Pure Android technicals and Past Experience discussion.
Bro can i connect with you. Because i also dont want to learn DSA much. I am more into development
Bhai Mujhe Me Refer kar do
You are right man. Recently I applied for one internship and you know what happened they actually send me the project on react js to build rather than dsa.
I totally liked the video and I am not that much experienced but when I do development I feel more enjoyable than solving cp questions...Thank you for sharing...
on 8:15 , sir was on point, that's the problem I keep facing when trying to learn DSA ,though I am frontEnd Team Lead my self. This video helped me clear my dilemma. Thank you Tanya sir
To Everyone if you really want to learn to code and IT Field Follow These Steps.👍👍
1- Always Learn C first because In c You will learn syntax, files saving, memory location after that you can switch any programming language.
2- Mistakes are part of life, If you made mistake in code means you are learning in right way because if your path is clear then surely you are at wrong way.
3- Be consistent With your hard work.
4- If you belongs from Non tech field also you can learn new skills because companies are looking for Skills Holders not degree holders..
Thank You🙏
How do know that this is the right guidence
Thanks bhaiyya u cleared my doubt.
Bhaiya can u make a video on us who r working as QA's/software testers in a MNC. Just want to know future aspect of it/shift to programming field is required or not?
Thanks Man. Loved it
Thank you for clearing my mind 😌.
And I use legion 5
An eye opening video thank you bhiya
Sir sach ma aapki video bhot jayada value add karti ha humari life ma thank you so much sir.. ❤❤💖

Plz make a video on frontend performance improvement .What are points to learn when I want to improve my app on client side .what are the strategy i should follow .
Overall how to optimise your app on client side
Thanks you bhaiya for your heart touching explaination .I also doesn't enjoy DSA .Sometimes I enjoy it in motivation but how person can be always motivated. But while learning and implementing development I always enjoy it...
Also Bhaiya don't you think that AI/ML, data science, data analysis is over hyped ? Jo bhi dekhu bas AI/Ml vagera kar raha.
Your Words give me Motivation, ThankYou ji !
I am addicted with Tanay Pratap bhaiya. Daily I watched 5 to 7 videos last 5 days
Your guidance is always useful sir ❤️✌️
The best video by far! on this topic, with the most honest facts🙂

Thakur tanmay bhaiya for this video keep going on ♥️😍
Thank you so much bhaiya
I'm big fan of you ❤️
Main special front-end development ki preparation kar raha hu.....
Because I'm none CS background
Used my laptop Dell Inspiron Core i5 processor 11th gen
Somehow someone told me this in my first year ...
I wasted or invested (whatever you cam say ) my first year in DSA and started web development in my 4th sem and now I am in 3rd year . Still I am feeling good because I still have time to learn. Thank you very very much tanay bhaiya for this informative video ❤❤❤
How sweet explaination was that❤
thank you bhaiya for all the clearence.
I wished I had knowned this earlier. Would have saved me a lot of unnecessary efforts, time and frustration. However, better late than never. Many Thanks Bhai!
Bhaiya pls make a detailed video on which topics to learn in javascript and react js for the job preparation
Real person to follow 💯 💙
I acutally agree here.
But bhaiya jo front end ke through jaege non DSA path se usme do you think itna accha Pay milega employee ko? Because jo logic likhege backend mai apparently unhe accha pay milega as comapred to jo front end mai ja raha ho
aapke liye respect aur badh gyi Tanay sir
Hatts off to you, sir! ❤❤
Bhaiya lekin kisi bhe company ka first round to dsa/coding round he hota hai na jab dsa ata ni hga zara to kaise kam banega
Bhaiya, msi gf63 12h, bhai UI and UX ka sourse bhi bata do ,please!
🤗
Well said. I have 10 years of experience and I can confirm this.
Make sure to learn javascript and 1 framework.
straight to the point💪
What a great video bhaiya, really appreciate you for this my question is what would you answer to those people who just started doing DSA but they are interested doing development should we switched to development and just do basics of DSA, but if we got a chance in one interview for SDE-1 by a referral ,clearing aptitude etc... then what to do if they asked about medium level DSA ??!!
Even I'm currently fighting with myself with this question. Hope Tanay Sir reply to this question
Really Insightful
Meri tho aakhe khol di sir aapne😁 thank you sir🙏🙏💫💫
Bhaiya I am from a different background bsc , what should I do now after my 3rd year , a basic degree with which I can apply in companies
Tanay,
till today before watching this video. I was only thinking about running behind DSA and problem solving. I started it but was not able to persist the interest, survive for a longer time, and meanwhile I was ignoring my personal UI skill improvement/development interest.
Thank you Tanay for giving me the positive and achivachievable path and its significance.
Takeaways from this video is going to help me to build strong mindset in the right perspective. Hence I am starting my UI development journy along with enough DSA knowledge to become a UI spacalist, I shall bang the big tech product-based company with this approach.
Hlo bro.. don't be misguided from his video... whatever you were doing continue that thing.... don't take dsa lightly
I wanna tell you one think .. In tech field or any field, you can earn more than enough if you have a problem solving skill.. if you can solve someone problem then that can help you to reach to success(more money)....by just learning UI,UX or you can say development you can't earn enough
@@neel7543why everyone is biased?
You are also wrong. DSA is important but for tier 3 clg student it is not enough.
If your aim is getting job at big tech companies dsa is must.
But getting interview call from big tech company is very hard if you are from tier 3 collage.
And I am not fully agreeing with Tanya pratap. Dsa is important,
@@vaibhavnayak909 are bhaii yaha pae hamse kese ko wrong proff ne kra hai.....bat ko samajo... or padaii kro bus...influence mat ho..enlogo se apna demak lagao...thoda...apne calculative mind ka use kro dhang se
@@neel7543 Bro Real truth is that dsa is just used for filtering students but when you get into a company you are doing development at the end of the day . DSA is a seprate path but its not the only way bro . Now the fact is that demand of web developers is just more and more since entire system is on web bro and what do you think web developers doesnt solve the problem ? in web development only basic dsa like array string linked list basic sorting thats it .
Bhai btao cloud computing best h ya coding jese js react or any other els or kha se kre
If u r in college then mostly do DSA and some what dev to get job in faang....but if u r working professional then do what tanay is saying
thank you swati and tanay sir
You are absolutely right sir.
If you want to be specialist then you may need DSA.
Although most of DSA work is done by in built methods like sort, filter, etc.
You are the best ❤️
Bro Laptop ☺toa up government wala h but not stuck anything in depth of fullstack everything thing is ok right now but problem was in my clg time when i had decided for app development then android studio is not working in that so I'm shift on web apps
I was also thinking to learn DSA but now I've postpone my plan and will focus more on building projects. Thanks!
hmmm oahle 2-3 years service based m kaam phir specialist banke faang m ....by the way kon s year m ho tm
I m feeling good now becoz i m not good at DSA but interested in full stack developer .
Thankyou very much bhaiya for clearing this myth
Sir🙏 please make video on non tech jobs and skills required to get high package
You are creating a new trend
Sir how may i talk to you personally please tell me 🙏?
I am using an HP Notebook which I purchased in 11th class for 24,500 rupees from local market. It comes with AMD A6-7310(4 cores, 4 thread), 4GB RAM, and 1TB hard drive, When I started my college I upgraded it by 4GB ram (8GB ram now) and 128 SSD. I use ubuntu only (no dual boot). although after long time now it's bettery life is not so good, it's gives 30 to 45 minutes battery backup but the performance is awesome, I use it with 25+ chrome tabs open, vs code, along side postman and other application.
Thanks bhaiya i hope i get a frontend job in big tech company, i am 5 years experience flutter and react native developer. Will joining your course help me in any way. Currently stuck in low salary job. And the laptop that I use is MacBook 💻. Keep making such eye opening videos, appreciate your work a lot.
i am kinda glad that not many people watch your videos, the few people know these things the better. i know it's evil to think but these are my honest thoughts 😅
i'm using lenovo ideapad v145 15ast amd a6 9925

You are great sir..❤️
Frist of all heartfelt thank you bhaiya it helps gives motivation and all that good stuff. I had some doubts regarding frontend development...as we know that complexity is growing day by day in frontend field especially what all things are necessary to be relevant at this time....as react is also very vast what all things should we do the hold utmost importance.
I am descent with dsa but i love development so that was my doubt most required skills for frontend developers job if you could make a video that would be best for all with similar interest.
So if a student is doing web dev and he is loving doing that then should he continue doing only that or he should do multiple things for placement?
thank you Tanay Bhaiya , I am using Hp pavilion laptop with i5 1240P processor..
Hello Tanay,
Can you make a video on how to optimise the 6 months of neogcamp for folks who are entering in 2023?
Bhaiya i am BCA last year student and working as software trainee right now in service base company should i pursue MCA while doing Job or Should i just focus on my job and learn more skills because my goal is Faang. plzz give me some guidance regarding it
problem solving always helps but todays student focus more on memorizing stuff and quick success. No one is ready to give a month or year solving or building stuff.
Bhaiyaa can you guide for the data science domain .......what exactly need to learn
So inspiring ❤
My respect is increasing about you sir...
Thank you bhaiya you are like a star ⭐ guiding us to the right I'm using Mi notebook ultra
Thanks for information bhiya
Yeah you are right but as a back end engineer we don’t have choice have to grind DSA to get a good offer 😢😢
i'm using desktop with i5 4th gen. I was trying for react devloper position have exp of 1 year. But the company also given question of Dynamic programming js objects.
waah waah waah (last wale shayari ke liye bhaiya)
