This song will never be forgotten by our band. Those days when we form a band and this is the first song that we use to play in the stage. Damn time flies so fast were old but the memories is still there 🤘
FINCH changed my life. Because of their music, a lot of my personality has been changed. From hip hop - i started to listen to kind of music like emo, post hardcore, to the sub genre of metal.
This remains my favorite Finch song. They have been way under rated IMO...the voice...(you can hear it especially in the acoustic versions) is haunting much like Chester Bennington. Please come back!!!
I love how the last two minutes of the song, 'Ender', which they often end their set on, is all about the music. The lead singer, guitarist, and drummer exit the stage because there is nothing left for them to do. It's no longer about them... or the band... it's just about the ending of that song, and that performance. It's pure poetry.
Here I am beside myself again I'm torn apart by words that you have said All in all, I know we're falling apart Where did you run to so far away? Here we are to sing you a song There you are asleep against the window pane Just like always You said you like to hear the rain sometimes All I can do is tell you the truth And oh, my eyes will tell you the same Here we are to sing you a song There you are asleep again We Grasp our hands together, we feel we are one result
GIANT KUDOS to the sound and mixing team and all involved in the recording of this masterpiece. and by this masterpiece i meant the whole fucking concert. I think WIITB was so magnificently put together and arranged, they found it way harder as the musical landscape was changing from right under them. it could be the drugs, the alcohol, the band politics, the mismanagement or whatever, I'm glad we got to see the best of them when they could, all as magnificent solo musicians playing like one great collective artist - Finch.
i was a metalhead guitar player until I heard this albulm in the early 2000s. after that I havent been the same. they have influenced me in my whole music style. too bad their follow up record wasn't so accepted among their fans. I still love it. thanks for uploading this.
I love this band it def makes me feel nostalgic but the fact that they r tight as a band live, I get the feels even more I know it's many years later but who gives af.
The lead guy really had some pipes on him. That and their layered melodies were really their strength. Too bad they decided to go more metal on their follow-up from their break-out album. If I wanna listen to Slipknot or System of the Down, I'll listen to them. Don't know why on earth I'd want that but you catch my point
Imagine being a teenager and not growing up to this music
Here in 2022 listening to this piece of art. Blessed ears that can hear this. Blessed ears. Enjoy.
These dudes sound so incredible live. Their emotional landscape translates so so well I feel.
I find the live performances are way better than the tracks. That is amazing to me every time.

Finch were at the top of their game in this performance! This is tremendous! I can't believe they sounded so crisp when playing live.
The scream at 4:01 into that instrumental - flat out spine chilling sequence.
