I love Mauritius I speak a creole that is very similar to Mauritius Creole I speak Louisiana Creole (our language isn’t dead)
I can’t wait to visit and have a chat with a local in person in my creole and them communicate back in their creole. I’ve made a few acquaintances from there already just off that connection alone. Mèsi pou tô vidyo boug-yé lê manjé té gar tro bon (Thank you for your video guys the food looked too good) 🙌🏾

Men, I’ve got to come back to Mauritius - really enjoyed the food, people and the narrow streets around where I stayed. And of course water all around you. Love it!

Mauritius reminds me of being in the Caribbean. Chef Chris also sounds like he's from St. Lucia or Haiti. I think I might do well there as a solo traveler.

They been brainwashed to not admit they are Africans and not even thah the island belongs to Africa even though is it on the Africa map, and the indus also do the same (worked with one and she hates to be called Indian). I don't think the Chinese do it but i am yet to confirm it..
