I have had one of these glass mats for about 5 years now.. picked it up in Wales when we visited there! I love it - don't use it often, but when I do things like you demonstrated, I do use it. It's worth while buying it, for sure.
@@CherylHamilton I just happened to have taken a much larger suitcase with me. I really should have taken a smaller one that would fit in their small cars!
Yes. Stampin blends are alcohol based thus isn't really friends with water. This technique with a water brush would be better with the water based inks from the ink pads, or stampin write markers or filled the water brush with alcohol with the blends.
@@cfeatherston07 Thank you! I'm away from my glass mat for a few weeks, but will remember that when I'm back home. They acted a little strange when I tried to pick up the color with water. I appreciate your tip!
Thanks for posting this! It answered my questions about it and it looks like a handy thing to have!
Glad it was helpful!
Omgosh that embossing is magic.
I agree!
Thanks Cherly for demonstrating all the things you can do with the new mat.
You're very welcome!
Hi Cheryl, watching replay from Canton, OH. First time watching you. I wanted to see a demo of the glass mat. And here you are!
Yay! Glad you found me & hope you stick around!! What do you think of the glass mat?
Glass mats are great! Thanks for sharing
Thanks Perky!

I can't imagine fitting that in your suitcase from Wales! Ha! I have been enjoying it! Thanks for your comment!

I really like to pack light, but coming home, I often have to borrow or buy another suitcase! Especially if I go to Hobby Lobby! @@vahodgins
Thanks for showing us the new glass mat.
You're welcome!
thanks Cheryl!!
You're welcome, Mona!
Hello, will glue stick to the glass mat? I have a IKEA desk and the tombow glue leaves a gummy black residue. Stampin seal is hard to get off too.
Any glue can peel right off after it dries.
It comes off without any problem.
Is the the mat magnetic also
No. It is not.
Stephanie, I know there are magnet ones. What would the magnet be useful for on your desk?
The curved tool is for « weeding… ». Picking out the little pieces of cardstock from an intricate die.
Thanks so much, Mary!
Wouldn't it be better to use alcohol in the "watercolor" brush if you're using Stampin Blends?
Hmmm... I don't know, Patricia. You might be right! I'll give it a try!

How can a Stampin Up demonstrator get one?
Do you have the order number?
I think you'll have to wait until the end of Sale-a-Bration to get one as a demonstrator.
Very nice thanks it's something I can save up for unless santa brings it me 😂
Good idea!! Come on, Santa!
