  • Point Pleasant Beach First Aid Dive Team: First Dive of Manasquan Inlet since Hurricane Sandy. This was a dive with the intentions of seeing what was washed into the inlet, a view of what the conditions would be like, as well as what has changed after the severe storm.

      The Point Pleasant Beach first aid dive team has been doing it for years in addition to the typical training. Keeps the divers used to working Underwater I'm various conditions.
      Each year, they totally remove between 2000 - 3000 pounds just in lead from the inlet. That's not counting other things removed like fishing line, tackle, and other objects dropped in.
