Hi! Great video, hey, don't know if you've tried it with basses... even if you didn't, would you recommend it for detuning full step from E to D? do you think the sound would be acceptable?
Thanks. Honestly, the tracking is not great on this pedal. It tracks better with bass frequencies tho. The speed and even the pitch is not perfect enough for my needs. I wouldn’t recommend as a de tuner. Digitech drop is the best option.
I have the Mooer pitch box. I use it on detune-2 for the Van Hagar sound. I need another one and this has a wet dry option. The tracking sounds really bad and digital though.
So does this act like the digetech drop? Also how come the lower or higher u pitched it was wobbly like a delay i thought it was supposed to just act like a digitech drop pedal
The STAX is not as accurate as the digitech. I only found it useful for harmonies but the pitch is off a few cents giving it a chorus effect, except with octaves
It pitch shifts but very digitally unlike the smoothness like this video. Does anyone know an effect to put in front or behind this pedal to reduce the digital harshness for this effect. Thanks in advance.
Pretty typical lag for an economy pedal. Noticeable delay when you play fast. More lag with the lower notes but tolerable with octaves or clean and slow tempo. It’s better for harmonizing than dutuning. Imho.
Awesome!! Huge thanks for getting back to me, great demo!!
How's the latency?
Not great imho. Good for slow playing. Seems to be better for lower notes and octaves.
ooo, just what I'm looking for.

@@GrooveDuude but some people might like that though
I'm hearing a tremolo when you change presets. Is that correct?
Most likely it’s the natural tremolo that occurs from microtonal inversions

Agreed. It tracks a bit slow and the pitch is not perfect making it wobble a bit. There are only a couple settings that I find useful.

a chorus, or any pedal that could let you roll off some high frequencies, like a normal tone knob does
What a freaky little pedal. Can you mix out the guitar sound entirely and play an octave down so you have a bass?
I believe so. I sold the pedal, But I think the mix can be adjusted that way. It tracks better with octaves
I can’t tell can it do harmonies?
Yes, It sure does 🤙🏻
Is this pedal the same as a Pitch Box pedal?
Yes. Well, most likely. Also Donner and a few other brands share the same circuits.

How much does it cost normally
About $55. I think these are discontinued but the Donner pedal is basically the same.
Tune that guitar man
