Case 5140 and Case 8455 Round Baler. The first time I bailed hay with the Case 5140. We finally got to bale some hay. Coastal Bermuda Hay. Gerraldfarms
Yes, that was a good size windrow! Nice to have rain, it always seems to come when you don't want it or rains too much. Then it won't rain when the crops really needs it. Tough being a farmer!
I’m scared it is going to turn real dry. That’s kind why I’m pushing to get all cut I can to get nitrogen put out while the soil has moisture. I cut today hope to bale Monday. Have a good one
Nice looking hay. Glad your baler started to tie. We have a 504 Vermeer that wouldn't drop the knives sometimes and we had to get out on every bale too to cut string. You're right. Equipment will never let you get used to air conditioning.
Boy, that ground does seem a little squishy! The old baler still makes nice looking bales. What I liked when I went from baling with an open station tractor to a cab (besides the AC) was no dust.
Yes sir it is . The rain has put us way behind. I’m trying to get the first cutting done so we can hit it with liquid nitrogen for the second cutting. Not eating all that dust is good. I’m fixing to Ted what I cut yesterday. Have a good weekend
Good day So it works nicer on 5140 than 574. Boy up here alot of people are almost finish haying. Now most of them only have about 30-35 acres, & we had some pretty nice weather too, so I guess that is biggest factor. Anyways thanks for now
It is a lot easier to run it all day. The AC is nice. We are way behind. I should be finished first cutting. I’m try to get a much done so we can spray liquid Nitrogen on it while the ground has moisture. I’m thinking it might turn dry . Have a good weekend
I guess the tie arm just needed to loosen up. Has the baler been sitting idle for a bit? Glad you were able to make some hay and are enjoying your 5140!
I'm jealous.... Won't be cutting till Monday here. Got rain coming.

How are you doing?🚜
We are doing good. I hope you are also.
How do you find the 5140.
I was looking for a tractor for about 2 years. Just never got in a hurry.
Speaking of dirty windows, you could be running open station tractors again then YOU would be the one dirty!
I hope y’all can deal with the dirty windows. Lol
Gerrald Farms Sure can as long as you stay cooler than you did last Summer
I'm jealous.... Won't be cutting till Monday here. Got rain coming.
I’ve been cutting more today to bale Monday. I hope. Keep us posted on your Baler. Have a good one
