Does it work & is it a good idea? 🤔

- You can use React / JSX as a Node / Express template engine - instead of EJS, Handlebars etc.
But should you do it?

.ejs hasn't been updated more than a year and has many security issues. Where i work i was told to change the template engine because of that 😢
you already have the option to use jsx with express, like you with pug, handlebars, ejs, etc.
please any ETA for Angular 17 course ?
Good
I like this. Mainly because it means you aren't reliant on SaaS products trying to upsell you to a paid tier just for the privilege of SSR.
subtitles say Vue instead of view :D
even UA-cam knows better 🤭
Hi, thank you for your videos. I would like to request the addition of Arabic subtitles to your courses on Udemy. This would be very helpful for many students like myself.
Shit. I have a huge project using Express + PugJS as template engine. If I knew this before...
What are other use cases? Would this be used for static websites?
I believe so, it would replace template engines for node.js such like pug,ejs and handlebars.
Thanks Max! What do your think about single-spa?
I was actually trying to do this not too long ago, but wasn’t able to use hooks since I couldn’t get he hydration working properly… 😢
Noice. Always wondered why this wasn't a thing
Hey max, could you do a course on dart Frog to create backend in flutter
Unrelated Question to the Video:
I am looking for a lightweight Backend Framework that has high Performance, meanig being able to execute complex functions fast. Additionally it should be maintaned and tested/secure.
My first guess was Java Spring Boot, since its using Java, but it seems to be compareabally slow due to it being bloated with a lot of functionality.
Any experience, hints or benchmarks would be realy helpful for me. Thanks :)
NodeJs or Python Flask
I have yet to see react code without usestates and useEffects
For ui, react is no, vue is enough
Vue is simple i agree with react's state management and wrapping can be daunting sometimes
this is epic
