There was a sign, it woke people up, people prayed and repented, God loves Repentance, God heard and God intervened and showed undeserved Mercy! I take this opportunity to Praise Our Father who Art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy Name, for hearing our prayers for Mercy on behalf of the lost and our nation and intervening for at least one more day for the lost to turn to Him. Every day is an extra day for our family and loved ones to turn to God. I don't what to be Jonah on top of the Mountain waiting for the best view of others' demise. The enemy flees at Praise. Concerning the 4.8 earthquake in the NY/NJ area prior to the April 8th/ (4-8 Solar Eclipse), If anyone has any doubts about it being a sign from GOD, (The sign of Jonah) Take into consideration that:
*Exodus 4:8 says, (Then the Lord says, if they do not pay attention to the first sign, they may believe the second. (Keep in mind also that this is the second Eclipse that crosses America in 7 years.
Then we have a rare earthquake with a 4.8 rating. But here’s the thing most people missed.
VERY IMPORTANT: THE AFTERSHOCK WAS A 4.0 indicating that INDEED,
1) THIS WAS A SIGN FROM GOD
2) IT WAS THE SIGN OF JOHAH
3) WE DO INDEED HAVE 40 DAYS TO REPENT
Considering all the things that we know about the path of both eclipse, we need to repent NOW!
Pastor Troy, not only Nineveh but Nimrod Arkansas. Nimrod was in the center of totality when the width of totality was 117 miles wide. Colossians 1:17.
We want forgiveness for ourselves so, why don't we pray for others in the same way?
There is good reason why Jesus used Jonah's story as His only sign; Jonah is Israel. Ninevah represents the gentiles.
Ever notice how the story ends?
Jonah is just sitting there, continuing to reject God's free gift of grace to the gentiles, moping that all of God's glory should be solely reserved for Israel.
Pray for Israel. Iran is now attacking them for the first time ever. Its clear they been behind hamas the whole time but now they're attacking in front of the world. Please pray for Israel. Rabbi Jason went live and prayed.
I have questions: did Nineveh backslide later & be destroyed? & where the Bible says God will restore the yrs the worms ate- is that the opposite of the worm eating the gord over Jonah bc of bitterness? He had to be bitter at them for a reason more so than just bc he didn’t want to be there or warn them? I know they persecuted the Jews but somehow there’s a deeper meaning about the redemption of what the worms ate that is offered later after Christ that was not available for Nineveh or Jonah. Was that what you meant by the redemption of Noah, has to be but Im trying to pieice it into the lineage? I think Jonah was angry about the mercy on Nineveh bc he didn’t have the Bible to show him what happens if you disobey the prophecy order. I know how he feels, God has used me to give warnings & Im left standing alone but Im careful not to become bitter bc I read the end where I receive restoration of what the worms have eaten. Jonah didn’t read that part.?
I recall scripture saying that a spirit entered Judas, then he went off to tell the pharisees...? If God sends a spirit, and scriptures says to hate the sin not the sinner how is it the persons fault. Can a human resist the will of God? I think Jonah found that out. 😏
