That's what I need a tiny house. I'm semi homeless. Bread and peanut butter are my mainstay. But that's ok. I wake every morning and some don't, so I'm blessed.

I got potatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes, squash, apples, tortillas chips and a butter pound cake today at my favorite dumpster.
I work at the Big W store in food. Store policy is if any food product, canned, boxed whatever leaves the store and returned goes to trash.
As I was watching in car with my 15 yo in backseat listening bout your plan for homeless & she said "I'd like to do the same thing. "

In Kansas City, MO I went and visited the tiny home neighborhood they've built for veterans. I'm looking into trying to do something similar here in the DC area.

Make your own cheese with the milk, all you do is add vinegar and cook it slowly then when it clumps up you put it in a cheese cloth and squeeze the daylights out of it, I use my cheese for making keto pizza and it's so good

I've always had that dream too Amy. Homelessness shouldn't be an issue in this day and age. I think of them so much at this time of year. We can never judge another because must of us are all just a heartbeat away from being where they are. It can happen to anyone x

When we lived down in the woods there was this huge chunk of property that had a massive building on it that was a church. It's always been my dream to build a tent village or tiny home village for the homeless. The building has two floors and many rooms. I would have doctor's rooms set up and hopefully volunteer doctors, both medical and psychiatric that could assist with the residents. I would have a huge kitchen where we could cook communal dinners. But the residents are welcome to cook at their tent or tiny home themselves. I would name it Sam's Place. My oldest brother had mental issues, no drugs or alcohol. As long as I can remember he was never able to stay in a home for very long. He was never able to deal with constructive living. He is gone now. He died one in a nursing home in New Mexico from congestive heart failure.
You impress constantly, you knew you’d see your Sav-a-lot new friend and had a backpack with necessities Amy your my hero, during the summer I buy water and give it out when it’s so hot and tell the people I give one to, it’s summer and you can’t have to much water.
I gave my mom some dumpster flowers today, she loved them.great haul.
I grow cilantro, chop it up and freeze it to use whenever.

@@LGAussie Hi,in parts it is,rent has been driven up because of the lack of housing available,where u used to pay 700e a month now your paying 1800 a month.Landlords are still refusing to accept rent allowance, even though by law now they have to.They just say that someone offered more money!!.Families with small children have been sleeping on the street and in garda stations.Many people have died this year due to homelessness, one in particular died in a doorway right outside government buildings.

Unbelievable!! With children no less. Ireland needs a system for this. Huge issue. Terrible. I wish I visited Ireland instead of staying a year in England. I always wanted to go. Although I was so close, somehow I got deterred. Maybe another time. 🌿🎄🦌🎅🏻

I am not a vegetarian but I think I eat mostly vegetables. I have lots of meatless meals. Finding vegetables and fruit in the dumpsters just makes my day. I wish they donated it but I have to say it still is like a little treasure hunt. LOL
Amy that spanish rice is really tasty, I add cooked sausage, drained & rinsed can of black beans + onion-bell pepper blend, top with shredded cheese. Delicious.
