Sheikh Ahmed Hussein Deedat (July 1, 1918 August 8, 2005) was an Indian-South African author, lecturer, and orator.[1] A Muslim, he was best known for his numerous inter-religious public debates with evangelical Christians, as well as lectures, most of which were centered around Islam, Christianity and the Bible. He aimed at providing Muslims with theological tools for defending themselves against the intense missionary striving of many Christian denominations. He used English instead of Arabic or any other language to get his message across to Muslim minorities in the western world.

Oh now you agree that a man is a spirit .
But you said Jesus is not a spirit otherwise a stone wouldn't have to be removed from the grave and the linens would not be unroled around him , he ate fish and bread , he therefore can't be a son of God who is spirit .
Now because you want to qualify Mohammed as a spirit and therefore make us believe that Mohammed is found in the Bible .

Was Mohammed a prophet of Jesus ?
Did Mohammed encounter Jesus and took instructions from Jesus or did Mohammed encounter Gabriel and took instructions from Gabriel ?
Why aren't you calling Mohammed the prophet of Gabriel instead of God ?
If he is the spirit Jesus promised to send after him then , why don't you call him the the Spirit of God ?
Why you don't call him the prophet of Jesus ?
Mohammed did not recognize the Bible which is an instruction of Jesus he created Koran instead .

Kasihan Ahmed Deedat, di debatnya akhirnya, ia kalah total. Dia syok yang mengakibatkan stroke berat, dari leher ke bawah. Akhirnya tgl.8 Agustus 2005. Ia kena azab Allah, selama 9 tahun, setelah menghina Yesus dalam debatnya.

He quotes Deuteronomy 18:18
It says the Lord your God will raise up a Prophet like me from among thy brethren.....
SO he claims a prophet like Moses is Mohamed because from thy brethren means Arabs who are descendants of Ishmael and Mohamed is a descendant of Ishmael so its him Moses refers to.
Objections:
1..... from thy brethren ... refers to fellow Israelis (see 15:7 and 24:15) not any other
2.Arabs are descendants of Ishmael is a lie from pit of hell.The Quran says prophet hood and the scriptures were given to the favored Israelis from the lineage of Abraham,Isaac,Jacob.6:84-86,29:27,38:45,21:71-72 and Bible says blessing to the world through Abraham ,Isaac,Jacob lineage.
Mohamed said he knows his lineage up to Adna'an.The rest are liars.Historians concur that no proof Mohamed was a descendant of Ishmael.Case closed.
3.Any other arguments fail because Mohamed is not of Ishmael he was not a brother of the Israelis and that prophet hood and scripture was given to Abraham,Isaac and Jacob lineage. no other.
4.The undisputed similarity between Moses and Jesus was the performance of miracles.and poor Mohamed performed none in the Quran.Then fasting for 40 days are indisputable in Moses and Jesus' lives.
He then says In John 14-16
here it says the comforter the Holy Spirit ... the Spirit of truth is Mohamed.
In context ... he is with you,shall be in you and abide with you for ever.He shall bring to remembrance all i have spoken to you....Was this true to them? Really? Madness.
So in Gospel the Holy Spirit is a man Mohamed but in the Quran it is the angel Gabriel.That is Islam.
5.The promise of the father Jesus taught them about was to be fulfilled in Acts when the spirit came upon them as Joel the prophet spoke. Now Mohamed was upon all those who were gathered and empowered them?Nonsense.
THis is another twisting of verses to fit what he wants.
In Hebrew Akbar means mouse so Muslims are always saying Allah is a mouse.You believe that? Just because the word means that in Hebrew ,it doesn't mean that in Arabic. So the word comforter being same as Ahmad doesn't mean Mohamed.
