My Brilliant Friend follows Elena Greco and the most important friend in her life, Raffaella Cerullo, whom she has always called Lila. They met in the first year of primary school in 1950 and their story goes on to cover more than 60 years of their lives and explores the mystery of Lila, Elena’s brilliant friend and - in a way - both her best friend and her worst enemy.

Wow the casting agents did a really great job....Nino looks so much like Donato now. And Alfonso does resemble Lila too. 👌

I love the show. Even though I'm Italian American, I don't speak it and understand very little, so I depend on the subtitles. My only complaint is that when they are shown on a white background, they disappear. Maybe the subtitles can be in blue ?

@@keuzl yeah groundbreaking that you have to be born in Italy grow up there and speak Italian to be Italian. If not you are Italian-American. Italian and Italian-American culture have not much in comment.

Lila is so aarogant this season
She's always been arrogant. But I agree this season it's a *LOT* . It's unsettling & deeply unappealing.
The story is told from lenu's perspective. You see lila as arrogant because lenu sees her that way.

@@cocoahv9408 as-tu aimé? J'aime tellement les années 70 et puis finalement Elena s'est épanouie je l'ai vue moins dominée par Lila, plus déterminée même si elle s'est trompée en épousant Pietro... J'avoue je sais que Nino est un connard mais quand elle est allée dans sa chambre ce baiser m'a beaucoup excité
@@graziagambarelli327 Pareille !! , je pense que c'était étudier pour nous faire frémir ;) . J'ai tellement aimé les épisodes S2 que je me suis rendue à Naples il y 3 ans .
@@cocoahv9408 oui les décors sont spéciaux dans la deuxième saison on passe de Naples à Ischia à Pise ... dans la troisième il y a Florence Milan Viareggio ... maintenant dans le 4 les acteurs devront changer de lieu Naples mais aussi Turin et Milan encore
