How to check battery status on BMW

In this video you can see how to check battery status using ISTA+ on your BMW. Job is done on BMW e90 but you can use the same procedure for most of the BMW models.
Note: This status is available if your car is equipped with IBS sensor. IBS sensor is on "-" terminal of the battery.
You need to do the following operations:
1) Start ISTA+ application.
2) Go to "Operations", "Read Out Vehicle Data" and click on "Complete Identification".
3) Wait until the vehicle is identified.
4) After vehicle identification is finished, go to "Vehicle Management" and click on "Service functions".
5) Here expand "Body" and "Voltage supply" and "Battery".
6) Click on "Evaluate the battery state of charge", select "ABL Power management: Evaluate the battery state of charge" click on "Display" and after that click "Continue".
7) Once the procedure is started, you can see here the current type of battery registered on the car, mileage when last battery exchange (registering) was done and current milage.
8) Select "1 State of charge for the last 5 days" click "Continue" and click "Continue" second time.
- Here you can see in percent how much your battery was charged.
- Also here you have a status if the battery is ok or if the battery should be recharged.
Note: If you drive at least ~30 - 40 km with the car and the charge percent is still very low I recommend you to change the battery or to check if the charging is working correctly.
9) Click "Continue" to exit from this submenu.
10) Select "2 Charging status histogram" click "Continue" and click "Continue" second time.
- Here you can see in hours at which percent your battery was charged (for e.g. in my video the battery was charged between 60% and 80% for 68 hours and between 80% and 100% for 2954 hours ).
