Hey George! Man - what a collection and what a response. I was taking mega-notes over here of some of these artists I haven't delved into and if their records are accessible for me here in the states (some are, and some aren't!). Couldn't agree more with your take on Genesis debut. Love seeing the Gentle Giant hometown pride! Hawkwind I think will be very rewarding this year, although they have such a massive catalogue. Even with the 8 you have, they still have about 500 more! Awesome response and I'm so glad this tag introduced me to your channel. Instant sub. Cheers!

Hi George - thanks so much for the shout out ! And what a great selection - I think the Fusion Orchestra will be my starting point but also Herbie Flowers had a number of those session guy releases - i need to check but I think something like Ugly Custard was a similar group . Alan Hamkshaw great organ player . Be well my friend.

Thank you for viewing. Herbie I think was on Ugly Custard indeed. A very similar line up to the ones shown.

As it happens, I gave the Nightingales and Bombers record a spin earlier in the week, and I tend to agree with you as this one should get more attention on the vc when talking about 70s progressive rock/hard rock. Good call, man. Both he Albert 1 and Fusion Orchestra albums are peaking my curiosity, thanks for sharing. Speaking of Hawkwind, I recently found a copy of Robert Calvert's Captain Lockheed and the Starfighters which includes members of Hawkwind (Lemmy does a terrific job playing bass). It's quite satirical and offbeat, but it is worth the detour. Affinity is a brilliant record, indeed. This one video introduced me to your YT channel, which I am now subbed to 🙂Cheers,

Thanks you for watching and subbing. I do not have the Robert Calvert, but it's one I'll look out for if the price is right.
Hopefully Albert 1 and Fusion Orchestra are not too tough to find. Well worth hearing.

Good to see The Raven get some love! Superb album (bar men in black - what were they thinking?!), dirtiest bass you’ll hear from the era.

Raven is incredible - didn't you discuss this on 'almost perfect albums' topic recently? MIB being the only duff track?

We did, I’d quite forgotten! Not a big stranglers fan tbh, got a couple of theirs from fairs for pence. The MIB album is terrible and weird. Black & whites a good one.
