We are the Calvert Trust in the stunning Lake District and we provide fun outdoor activities for people with disabilities. Our accessible centre is located next to Bassenthwaite Lake, near Keswick. If you book a course with us, these are some of the activities you could take part in:
Canoeing, rock climbing, a lakeland walk, horse riding, bushcraft, zip wire and more!

Calvert trust Lake District is outstanding and they are really supportive of the people who come to Calvert and they are brilliant with disabled and special need children and adults who go to Calvert Clare Mount Specialist Sports College when in February. Monday 25th til Friday 1st March 2019 and it was outstanding as always. I would never miss another Calvert Trip because they are out of this world and the group leaders who Clare Mount had in February Tory, Julian, Jane and Chris were amazing and they supported us all week when we where their in February. The food is outstanding and you can never find a fault with any of the food the food is always to die for and a massive thank you goes to Dave, Sarah and Gaz as the food is always amazing and their sticky toffee pudding is the best ever!!! When we go to Calvert are motto is Learning For Life's Adventures and we always do because when we are at Calvert we learn for life's adventures when we get back to school we take everything we have learned at Calvert back to the classroom. Calvert is the best place to go and the group leaders are always willing to help or adapt with the person in a wheel chair or special needs a very very big thank you goes to Tory, Julian, Jane and Chris who help Clare Mount Specialist Sports College in February they deserve a massive thank you because they were amazing with us see you all again next year from Amelia and Clare Mount Specialist Sports College
