  • How to help children get a sense of value and money without making them either spoiled or deprived? How to raise a non-materialistic kid seems almost impossible in our current culture. We try to raise non-materialistic kids but advertisements and stores send the opposite message to our children. To help illustrate how to teach your child to not be materialistic I have Dr. Laura Markham with ahaparenting to role play the scenario with me. If we want to stop raising materialistic kids we have to start with empathy and understanding. Most parents fear raising a spoiled child and children & materialism can be a tricky spot with everything our children our bombarded with. After watching this video you'll feel more confident in raising non-materialistic kids.
