A great video of absolutely great players that won the only Sam Maguire for Doire. It is such a pity that they could not have shown a snippet or one second of footage of a man that I feel was the most compassionate member of that panel. He was the late great Eamon Coleman. He lived , he breathed for our county . He picked that team out of obscurity. He knew what he was doing , ( the county board) oblivious to his knowledge of men that could deliver, (and the board shit on him ). But Wee Eamon, fearlessly fought on , and picked his team. Brought the best out of players to achieve more than they thought they had in there thanks. Believed in there ability and made them also believe. Got the supporters roused again, gave the county a lift. I truly miss the wee man , funny, charming and as Joe Brolly would say . ALTRUISTIC
