The only reason I have as many Guitars as I do is the fact that I see the potential in inexpensive instruments... I've always been a "players vintage" collector... I don't want the museum relics, I'm after the 10 year old brand name that needs new frets... electronics... the one that has an otherwise quality build but has a home made (attempt) at a new paint job, runs and all... You get the satisfaction of upgrading an otherwise overlooked guitar and getting it for dirt cheap... maybe it's the cheap bastard in me but I have been fortunate to find the deals and hone my repair skills at the same time... win/win...
Can't say anything more than you are 100%!
Uh, yes. Yes, I would! If I had your skill I'd stay home and just work on guitars all day. Fixing up "junk" gives me a real thrill.
Skills? HAHAH
There's nothing like making something your own.
Right? Especiale if its something that you want and it is not out there.
Yo dawg ai got that sane Randy Jackson #711 as my first electric. ur videos inspired me to pull it back out and give it the proper treatment it always deserved. It’s dope seeing you give it a transformation.
That's so rad, man. Do you make videos? I would love to see that.
Best of luck.
Hope to see you restore junk guitars and maybe turn an extremely cheap DIY guitar kit into a beast
I would LOVE to try out a kit.
