  • Farringdon Street by the Italian Embassy, London. It’s a 2-way cycle lane bus stop bypass. Cyclists are seen not stopping for pedestrians at zebra crossing & riding over it while pedestrians are crossing. When some did stop, 1 carried on past 2 pedestrians on the zebra crossing.
We urgently need the bus stop back to the pavement please, with no cycle lane sandwiched in between the pavement and bus stop. It is not safe or accessible for blind or visually impaired people. We need to be able to access public transport and get where we need to go please.
Alt text. There is a two way cycle lane with a zebra crossing on it at this location. 2 men waiting at zebra crossing on 2 way cycle lane next to a bus stop. Cyclist goes past does not stop. The men start to cross one behind the other as cyclist slow & stop to let them cross. 5 end up waiting however another cyclist rides around them and makes the second man stop as he rides in between them on the zebra crossing. Rest of film shows pedestrians giving way to many cyclists to let them past before crossing. Cyclists and a rented e-scooter rider, ride past pedestrians on the zebra crossing & while pedestrians are on the zebra crossing. At the end there is an e-bike rider going at great speed down the cycle lane, there was no pedestrians at that time however, it was clear the bike had been modified to go very fast.
