GAANOW | GAA Glory Days - Tyrone 2003 and 2008

Tyrone supporters had been dreaming of #GAAGloryDays for a long time when they ended their wait to bring the Sam Maguire Cup home in 2003, beating their neighbours Armagh in dramatic fashion, and in 2008 the Red Hand County secured their third All-Ireland of the decade with a brilliant display beating the mighty Kerry! It's Tyrone's #GAAGlory Days!

They have the largest population in Northern Ireland so it is no surprise that they are so successful. They have an advantage over the smaller Ulster counties. For example there are 4 big GAA towns in Tyrone, Strabane, Omagh, Dungannon and Cookstown. You can't underestimate this advantage.
