Some of us would rather enjoy both and not make derisive, inaccurate descriptions of one soundchip to praise another, so don’t act like your assessment is the Gospel Truth as if anyone who thinks differently has poor taste. The SNES sound is absolutely NOT like “being inside an empty can of green beans…. Or pinto beans.” It sounds closer to physical instruments, whereas the Genesis version sounds like an 80’s pop interpretation of the same melody, and they both sound pretty damn good!
Whatever drugs you're smoking to think this is better than the other 2 versions, I want some. Yes, this version is great, but there really is no bad version of this theme song.

You know this port is badass when even the folks on the nro geo forums are shocked at how well it plays (even has combos the arcade version is incapable of!!)
@@Bloodreign1 The thing is: I don't think they are talking about quality, they are probably referring to the instrumental arrangement, which is indeed more interesting than the Neo Geo version. This version comprises the feel of the character better in my opinion.

The Neo Geo ran off of a Motorola X68000, same guts inside a Genesis, but had the better soundchip than the Genesis. This version is good yes, but has nothing on the arcade original, or even the games AST.
