To me Evans was always a pretender, Ng strikes me as a far better player, not great by general standards but certainly somebody who is learning with the game.

She has been Women's World Champion many times, so could never be called a pretender. If you watch Stephen Hendry's channel, she says she has become afflicted by a pretty nasty neurological issue that strikes her at random times.
