    One of Henry Ford's tricks was that he paid more than he needed to, which attracted more potential hires and promoted employee loyalty. His goal was to grow the business rather than stuff his mattress with cash. When the employees have more money, they spend it which boosts the local economy. A healthy economy means more people buying Model Ts. It's the opposite of trickle down economics.

      True. He paid more than prevailing wage for the industry. There was no minimum wage back then. That’s different however then the government setting the contract wages between two parties.

    We don't have an issue getting companies to come to Washington... Because they know the good workers are in the state that pays them. Idaho is behind.

      Have you seen the Boise-Meridian-Eagle area lately? There are so many brand new, major company buildings along the north and south side of the interstate. There have been companies moving to Idaho for the past 5 years. You might be surprised at the area if you haven't been there since say 2018.
