I have made these and I left them plain!! Then I cooled them off and then I put the biscuits into a ziplock bag and then into the freezer!!! I eat them AS needed !! I zap them into the microwave for about 20 seconds !!! They really hit the spot !!!
Brings back memories, As a kid I used to deep fry biscuits in a tube. I just poked a hole with my finger and opened it up. Put them in a paper lunch bag (remember those?), add cinnamon sugar and shake them up. They never tasted like a biscuit to me. they were light an airy. I'm definitely gonna try it in the air fryer. maybe sprinkle the sugar on before I bake. Keep up the good work.
Not just a memory. Your mama STILL does that. "I can't get any fresh donuts" (because she doesn't wake up early enough to get them), so that's her solution when the donut craving hits at 9 p.m.
This is much healthier than how I used to make them. I made mine in my little deep fryer and made the glaze. I also just made them with powdered sugar. So good.

I was surprised how much these didn’t taste like biscuits!

@@JohnEatsCheap Thank you...they were pretty yummy.
Biscuits made in the air fryer are the best!
So quick & easy!
48 have seen the hole cut with a bottle cap
Hi,
I will try this recipe with the grandkids❤
Did you air fryer them at 360 F for 4 minutes?
Thank you so much for sharing 🙏
360° for 5-minutes or until golden brown
@@JohnEatsCheapThank you so much for your quick response.I will watch it until it turns golden brown per your advice 🙏🙏
hmm, maybe add a bit of ground cloves to the coating mix
Not a fan of cloves, but that would add some unique flavor.
They are kind of the like the donuts from Chinese buffets.
It be better to dip the glass in flour first then u can cut the hole easier 🍩🍩🍩🥛🥛☕️☕️☕️
Good idea.
