When renting in atlanta area Picture a clock... avoid 1 o clock to 8 o clock. Outside the perimeter. Avoid all that. Inside the perimeter... avoid everything south of the 20
Why would anyone send money to someone they haven't met yet. ? If they can`t show up at the property in person to show you the rental unit first that should be a red flag.
I have actually caught these scams on Zillow and Trulia. They will have a property listed twice for two different prices. I'm not giving up money until I see the property and sign paperwork in person. I might even call the cops to be there too.
I didn't do it. The story was to weird and it was all about send the money. I couldn't send them anything with out them first doing what section 8 housing requires of them. I feel now, why not do a back ground check of potential landlord and a inspection of the home by a qualified inspector. My reason for looking at the scam rental I feel was just as bad.. And to top that off I never found a place to rent almost as if I had done something wrong.. I'd rather just be homeless.
Everyone working local yocal network stations in the south are from the Northwest, and usually Seattle area. Why? Decent education without that charming southern accent. It's been like this for 40 years and it's still weird.
