Fantastic! This is earmarked for when the next paycheck arrives! I have to say an "mm" vowel patch would be a killer addition, but I guess you can't have everything.
Thanks Peter! FYI, there's an "mm" patch in Swing More by ProjectSAM. I felt I should focus on things that hadn't already been covered well by others. There's a good ooh patch in that library too, but it's more smooth and "choral sounding," so I did choose to do my own "oohs" that achieved the smaller vocal ensemble sound with the vintage tone that I really wanted.
@@authenticsoundware I'm with Peter here. Would love to have had the same vocalist on mm. Put together some more libraries like this! This is excellent!
That’s the vintage RCA 77 mic. Maybe it sounds odd isolated, but sounds great in a mix if you want the authentic sound of the era. Mic 1 is a Neumann U67 tube mic for the other close perspective option. Both were recorded through the Neve desk at Sear Sound to their Ampex tape machine at 30ips.
This would've been even more perfect if it included "shooby doo wahs" and things like that
Yeah. I might do that as part of a future Motown-style vocal library
I hope it'll have polyphonic legato- there hasn't been a Motown library that has it yet!
It sounds fantastic! I appreciate the organic sound and keeping it "live" so it keeps the genre's production vibe. This is gonna be very useful!

Incredible! Do you have a Spotify playlist of yesteryear songs to listen to and learn the composition style? Thanks 🙏
This is so incredible. Must buy for me.
Beautiful sound 👍
👍
Why in second mic resonance is so strong?

Any chance we will see a male counterpart to this?
Hi Peter, while I’d love to do that, there currently a number of other libraries planned ahead of that.
I seriously need to stop watching these demos. I want to buy every last single one of them 😩
