Honest opinion, does the euro 5 v4s sound softer compared to the euro 4? I think the difference is quite substantial. Which is sad for me because sure I’m planning to get a euro 5. Am riding a euro 4 now.
From what I've heard in person once the exhaust is swapped, they sound identical but in stock form the euro 4 does actually seem to have slightly more aggression to it but I think that could possibly be down to the mapping and gearing changes, but honestly for stock it does not dissapoint especially at high revs.
In my honest opinion for riding it over 8000miles. It's actually fantastic. I picked up the new shape S1000RR and did a 2 hour ride back to where I live and just that motorway journey alone showed me how much of a well thought out bike the V4S is and not to put the S1000RR down in any way but I prefer the ducati for quite a few reasons and prefer it over thr R1, R1M, H2 etc for the overall rider experience. The Front cowl windscreen blocks wind so well. Suspension can be made soft and compliant for rough bumpy surfaces and made stiff for good surfaces all at the flick of a button. The Riding position is race focused and agressive but you and the bike feel like 1 which I've never experienced on any other bike I've ridden so far. Its actually comfy for me and I'm 6,2 92KG. Handling is the best hands down . Engine is actually Very smooth but has a V8 like rumble when moving of from a stand still. It's scary fast and pretty loud for stock. Overall I can't knock it. As someone who actually owns and rides these bikes alot it's the total opposite of rubbish. It also has the best quick shifter I've ever used and even my friends with other 1000cc bike say the same thing. I let a rider from british superbike racing riding it and he said its the best road production bike he's ever ridden so for me that says alot. Fuel is very cheap as well which shocked me unless you're in race mode and doing triple figures. Just my honest opinion and I don't regret the purchase at all.

Definitely. SFV4S is more comfy on the road than my bike. And if you ever decide to hit the track it can handle that too.

Sounds like thunder in reality. Hurts your ears riding next to it. Arrow termi and sc are the loudest ones though.
