What is DreamWorks All☆Star Kart Racing?

It has been announced that a new kart-racing game featuring characters from Dreamworks is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, in October of this year. Created by Gamemill Entertainment and developed by Bamtang Games, which is the the same studio behind the Nickelodeon Kart Racers Trilogy. This Dreamworks fifth racing game, and will function like every other kart racing game. The new game will allow you to race with characters and tracks from the Shrek films, Kung Fu Panda, Puss in Boots, Madagascar, How to Train Your Dragon, and more. The game will cost $39.99 USD, but you can upgrade to a digital deluxe edition for an extra ten US dollars which will let you play as Master Oogway and the Wolf from Puss in Boots 2.
From the Shrek universe, you can play as, Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Puss, Kitty Softpaws.
From the world of How to Train Your Dragon, there's Hiccup and Astrid, perhaps more to play as.
The Kung Fu Panda universe will be included as well. You can race as Kung Fu Panda's Po, Tigress, and Master Shifu around the spirit realm and the panda village.
In addition to the characters, the karts will be themed around the characters and lore of their universe.
Pretty much every DreamWorks franchise has been included in this game, except for Tales of Arcadia, where their presence is unknown, but it's safe to assume it will be ignored like usual.
It's been over ten years since the last DreamWorks Kart game, and it's worth discussing if it's just another cash grab or if this game will be enjoyable.
