Can i access emails made between staff about me with one of these? They tried telling me i can only get copies of emails i sent them and they sent me, not those they sent each other about me. Thanks.
The company have stated that to copy and send the documents it will cost £25 for 25 pages and £75 for all records kept or free to look at them in the presence of a member of staff.... Can they charge this amount?
If you made this request as a European or UK Citizen under the GDPR then the company is not allowed to charge you for a Data Access Request. Only if you ask for additional copies of your data, the company may charge a reasonable fee. The relevant article in the GDPR is Art. 15 (3) "The controller shall provide a copy of the personal data undergoing processing. For any further copies requested by the data subject, the controller may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs." I suggest to revert back to the company and inform them that you have the right to get a copy of your data for free. Hope this was helpful.
