Deadmau5 brought the hypnotic melody that gets stuck in your head for days on end... Rezz brought the sounds one can invent with bass along with the drop. This was an incredible collaboration.

Deadmau5 is actually known for his pretty and hypnotic synths in songs such as "I Remember","Raise Your Weapon", "Polaris" etc..

The breakdown at 3:12 is an absolute masterpiece, from a production standpoint, rhythm, everything. The sense of "space" in the song as those big bass plucks hit (and transition) is unreal. Love it.

Did you know, that when rezz was first starting out, she was helped and mentored by deadmau5 pretty much since the beginning. That’s why her and his sounds are similar because they worked so closely together. Dead mau5 helped rezz become the badass she is today! And that’s why they’re music is a match made in heaven 🔥

I think people forget REZZ was on mau5trap and worked very closely wit Deadmau5. He taught her a lot and helped her with her own label.

Edit for those confused: she removed Slip yeeeears ago and I’ve been wanting more since then. She released some ep/singles through mau5trap in 2015 and then signed with them in 2016 to release her studio albums through them.

I only found out last minute. He posted on YT that his Colorado shows sold out and to go check out his other shows. I went over and saw it on his website and I thought I checked the month before and it wasn't there, so I'd check back often. I also had to text a promoter the week before to get in as it was "guest list" only.

HONESTLY, it's why I've stuck around for over a decade now. his tracks are always so clean, there's no skips or weird sounds, it just takes you on a trip from beginning to end every song.
