Drop to S4: Jeff Ironlad X-23 Elsa Black Knight Werewolf Caiera Grand Master Beta Blob Based on seniority alone (excluding big bads). They should drop 15 more on top of those 10 and don't drop anything to S3. Fin.
The optimistic takes are nice. But... based on whats happening lately. I wouldn't get my hopes all that high. Pretty sure Jeff ain't never drop, too big if a cash cow. I would be shocked.
Storm was buffed. Derek recently took a Storm deck to number 1 on the Infinite Ladder. Storm's interaction with War Machine was nerfed. Legion should be nerfed, though. Legion is a toxic card.
i think the game is only made for people like me in or near high cl at 20k or higher, people from launch, don't know what they are thinking to be honest.
Being a new/returning player and getting to series 3 complete feels really bad when nothing of value or use drops into series 3. I agree that series 3 has become bloated but honstly they need to just make a series 6 move cards up take cards from 3 and 4 move them to a series 4 track thats afters series 3 and has more unique and valuable cards for advanced players with series 5 and 6 effectively working the same as 4/5 do now thats the best re-work i can think of anyway
I have an opposite opinion. The pool system is really good bc ensure a good new player gameplay experience since dont play vs high cl players, but need more things to keep up with the state of the game 2 years after
Like a recruit season pass 2 with cards of serie 3 (with cards like Falcon, or iconic characters like Spiderman) or paths with series 3 cards, for example you play a lot destroy in S1 & S2, make some missions and get Venom or Death, this could be good tools to accelerate the way to make a "competitive" deck.
I think they won't ever drop anything down below 3. Because if they start adding all these wacky, cracky cards to series 1 and 2 that might over saturate the new player experience. i think s 3's are good where they are. That way. The new players can learn the game with the series 1 & 2 cards. And once they get s three they can start really having fun
@@TheKayasto I started last season let me tell you is not fun at all, you start getting series 1 and 2 fast but once you hit series 3 is a crawl. you can ask returning player because they are also suffering form how many cards we have to unlock to in series 3, while hording resources for the new card in series 4, 5.
@yahi06 so they need to ramp up the amount of s3 yall pull from caches. so completing s3 is something f2p can achieve within a couple months if they play consistently.
@@TheKayasto They won’t do that because as bad as s3 card acquisition js, 4 and 5 is worse. If 1-3 fly by and then you run into the brick wall of 4 and 5, you’re probably even more likely to quit.
@uhwaykin idk then 🤷♀️ they gotta do somethin if fresh players aren't sticking around. I didn't buy anything my first couple months (was unemployed) but after I started working again, 400$ and a couple more months later, I was completely caught up with cards. after that my spending hit a wall and I only got battle/gold passes with occasional bundles. I lack 7 or 8 cards currently. but I started April 2023. so when I caught up, there were 65+ LESS cards to acquire. I blew a TON of tokens on the "random s3 card" for 1k each. this was before spotlight caches. so iirc s4/5 were dropping from collection caches but very rarely. and we still got gold from collection caches 🥴 they've removed gold acquisition almost entirely at the point....they deff need to bring that back too. folks shouldn't feel like they have to spend money just to have a couple meta decks. and if they do spend, 15$/month for battle and gold passes should allow them to progress decently. I manage 3 keys a week most weeks. pass buyers (and thats all they buy) should be able to manage at least 2 keys a week and if they can't then SD needs to change some things. if they can't maintain a steady new player rate and the new players STAY, then that's a cause for concern on the longevity of this game...
I hate to feel this way but I think you guys are a bit too optimistic on both how many cards will get dropped and on which cards will get dropped. I'm super doubtful any season pass cards from 2024 drop.
For whatever reason, Season Pass cards seem to be particularly protected by Second Dinner nowadays. Hope Summers, who released in March, is the newest Season Pass card that has been featured in Spotlights. We haven't had a Season Pass card after her be in Spotlights, so... the last 7 months (8 if we include the November datamines) will not have had any Season Pass cards released since her.
This might be an unpopular opinion, but I think Agony should be an immediate series 3, not worth 6,000 tokens, or even 3,000.
Looks like I found another Marvel.Snappodcast to listen to. subbed my guy keep it up!
@@TheKayasto let’s goooooooo!!!
Anti venom and Misery seems like a good combo for an on reveal deck that relies on effects to spread power.
Id love that

Derek, I think, not Dekkster.

Series drop is healthy for players, not for SD Wallet tho yeah (point that should be noted).
When are series drops cuz i really want Gladiator lol
@@unitesupportking3439 December!
I vote to just refuse the series idea all around. It does nothing but hold people back and I would bet it's part of why new people leave the game

First on the board!
great video fellas! i feel like nimrod has to drop to series 3.
Stop suggesting cards to drop I just got lol 😂
