Hi am also from india and my husband is from france if you need help you can ask me because i know it wasn’t easy for me too as barely anyone knows the exact process
You can get married in france and in india too as per my experience my husband first applied for noc from french embassy as that noc arrived he came to india and we did the civil marriage . For civil marriage you need to visit marriage registrar’s office it usually is in the dc office . Or you can apply online in special marriage act portal better is to visit the registrar office . After that you both will get a date for marriage and there you need to take 3 witnesses along with yourself and your french partner . You will be provided with the marriage certificate with the signs and the thumb imprints .
It will take about one month to fullfull thi process and afterwards your partner can easily apply for your french spouse visa and i hope and wish the best

We submitted documents in france embassy for marriage registration
26th may i submitted my documents.
How much time required in this process now?????
