  • Hey guys, I went to the international science and engineering fair, ISEF. My partner and I made a project regarding Alzheimer's Research. It seems very promising!
Sorry about the shaky video, I recorded this on my phone, which has had a steady degrade in video quality. I have used it to film over 100 videos! Either way, I got a new camera that will have way better quality. This will hopefully be the last shaky video that I have! Stay tuned for the next video where show you this new awesome camera;)

Are you sure your results of gamma increase weren't due to relaxing, daydreaming or falling asleep?

An MIT professor completely disagrees with you. I'll trust the MIT professor. news.mit.edu/2016/visual-stimulation-treatment-alzheimer-1207

Hello, I am Krystal Horton, Tanner's partner for this science fair project. The "normal" gamma levels that you are referring to cannot be compared visually by these graphs as the scales along the y-axis are different. In the vibration graph, the scale on the y-axis goes up to 1.2 million while the scale for the sound graph only goes up to 80,000. Had we made all the graphs on a scale of 1.2 million, the trends, or lack thereof, would not be able to be observed as the data would result in an almost straight line. Our research is reproducible as we performed the tests on a set amount of subjects. Regarding your doubt on the statistical significance of our data, Tanner and I conducted a Paired Two Sample T-Test. Through this statistical analysis, we found that the vibration test had a P(T

This is really interesting. I'm a sophomore in the science research program in NY. Researching stem cell engineering and it's effects on Alzheimer's but after seeing this vid I might pursue something based off the MIT study. Congrats on your acceptance to MIT!

I'm curious what results you would have gotten with other frequencies.

Was the light blue light? Don't lights generally flicker at 50/60hz, maybe a nice slow lightbulb

Very good work and very interesting! I have a doubt, the values obtained from the eeg are expressed in what unit?

Talk about vibrations, my House was pulsed with vibrations due to a cell site that had equipment installed incorrectly. It caused my yard to bubble. I was unaware of the dangers of what was happening in my backyard. I went out to film it and the next day I had bumps on my back that hurt. The frequency and power was so high. You can watch my videos on my channel and see. This is dangerous stuff.

U sure that this effect is not simply due to vibration coupling to your scull/electrode connection and inducing impedance differences manifesting in spectral artefcts in the desired spectrum?

Very interesting research. I would love to see a copy of the paper that accompanies this amazing project. Does anyone know how to obtain one?

Hi can you tell me how to connect the motor to the piezo to measure the frequency ?
or the piezo isnt connected with wires only from vibrations ?
i have frequency measuring on my multimeter if that helps somehow instead of an oscilloscope
    thanks and take care

"Your" project is nothing else but a copy from the early 20s. And even earlier than that. I though these projects must be unique. These days we do not invent anything, just copying from the past.
