If the key doesn’t fit you must acquit!
This is amazing! I’m pinning this! 🤣

What is acquit ?

My grandma actually used to work on these machines. And the test run up takes the key through all the key holes. Yes it is riged to only allow win for each item that is paid for, for example. If you have a $200 watch in there, it won't let a win until that item is paid for.
That's stupid
Then what’s the point in these machines
@@appleorange3708 so that the people can make money. What it is is that once the item is paid for and then some so they for sure make profit, then that one item will turn into a skill game.
@@appleorange3708 point is the vendor needs to make a profit. Its like at a carnival when you throw the ball in the basket. There is a spring under there. I've watch a handful of these video and all said pretty much product has to be paid for before you can win prize. I watched a good video on when the machine will pay out. From a business perspective of course its riged just like those sliding quarter machines or as the casino modus operandi say is the house always wins
wtf...people can literally buy them with their own money. I hate rigged games.
Ok did I miss something? Where did you say how to beat it? Cuz that's what the title says you were supposed to show. Clickbait!
It shows how on 15:02

What he actually shows is this game is rigged, because he had it lined up perfectly but it never triggered the prize.

5% skill 95%machine rigged
Not really I won something on a game harder than that yesterday
@@Confused-.-. that’s kind of the point, it’s possible to win, but barely
@@Confused-.-. It was just ready to pay out then. These machines make their money first, then they will pay out once they made a good amount more than what the prizes are worth. Had a buddy win an xbox series x on a claw machine where you had to lift a small block up (there were 5 in the machine) and get it to drop in the prize hole. A guy was super mad because he had been there all day playing it picking it up exactly how my friend did, but since it wasn't ready to pay out it just kept falling out of the claws grip. My friend only played it once, and that one time it was ready to pay out. The dude kept telling him he is welcome because he put so much money into it all day 😂. Only reason he wasn't on it at the time is because he went to get a drink, and when he came back is when my friend got on it. The guy was so heated 🤣🤣🤣
This game is set to only let people win at a certain amount 😂. If the key hits the top all the time then it's not due to pay out if it starts hitting the bottom then it's due to pay out anytime
Lisa Mcclanahan I see how you could think this is a key master but prize lockers are 100% skill.
@@manning_5543 I know this cause I work for Dave and Buster's lol
Lisa Mcclanahan then explain why he didn’t win?
@@skyyy710 read my above comment again. When we open up the games to load them we open up the bottoms where you put your money and set it to a certain 😉 time. let's make sure you got that part. The game is set to hit the top so many times before it let's you win. So someone who was playing the game before him probably won so the game reset back to the beginning for the next player. We set ours for people to put in up to 87 times which equals out to 87.00 at 87.00 it will let the lucky player win
Lisa Mcclanahan I was asking the person that works at dnb not you lol but how is it 100% skill then it’s not I hope all you owners get sued for false advertisement
The bottom of the plastic for the PS4 is angled out slightly making the whole just small enough for the key not to fit. You can see if from the side view. When the key hits it, it bounces back when the key retracts
Yep
The key fits. The key always fits. The problem is that the machine is set to pay out after a certain number of tries. If you don't believe me look up the manual. I've been reading it for the past hour.
@@ClawBossmy work has one of these. It is set for winning.
The key game really is rigged. I've watched videos that say the owner of the machine can set how many tries need too be taken before it'll line up correctly. Until that point it'll make the key stop right before or right after where it needs to be. I wasted a fair amount of money before i knew that myself
Some of them are that way, but not all. The ones with a payout rate only make you get the key exactly right up and down... there's a lot of leeway side to side. The skill based ones have a little circular cutout at the top of the blocking thing where the top of the key has to pass through. It has to be exactly right top to bottom and left to right.
If it says its skill based and it's not, that would be fraud. I think it's kinda sketchy that they let the payout rate machines sit there and take people's money and make them think they can win when
there's no chance of winning at that moment, but to do that and claim it's skill based would be that much worse.
13:40 right there we see Alvin and the CHEECKmunks

You are right same with the others but shortee
Also, love the camera guy - he’s hilarious!!!
I like all of your videos ClawBoss
Prize locker is skill, the notch is added to account for the deviation when the payout rate hasn’t been hit.
No way in hell that key was gonna fit after you hit it perfectly that first time. Awesome video though Boss!
Thanks man. Hopefully my pointers will help someone out there win. We were spot on!
How is that actually legal?! Thank you on behalf of all the kids who didn't thank you for exposing these people.. kids spend there allowance seeing those prizes is like gamblers seeing those chips and wanting to win big only even casinos are not that rigged! Kids spend the little cash they have to try and get something the parent or parents can't and loose there money.. good video man hope these guys get sued!
They’re actually not legal in New Jersey from what I’m told but I have no proof
ClawBoss you guys were in NJ that explains the kids accent he must have been from philly lol
Actually games like those and those games that gives out tickets, is actually like adults going to a casino gambling! All those games that the kids play spending their money hoping to win is the same. If you don’t want your kids to grow up and turn into gamblers or have a gambling problem. Keep the away from those type of games...
Because they will get addicting! You just watch one player spend $60 trying to win a prize and did not win.
Pfff, I get paid $7.25 an hour and I’ve literally seen kids spend more than that in less than 5 minutes on these things.

If you read the user manual for the Sega Key Master game, you can get some insight as to how these games work. The key does fit into the holes, but the operator can simply set the parameters for when a prize is won. The default setting is that a prize will not be paid out until a certain number of attempts have been tried. Personally, I don't take issue with this being the case...since there would be no other reason for the operator to run a game if they can't make any money. The issue I have is that this game specifically states on the front glass that it's a "100% skill game" and that you can win every time "if you're good." This just isn't true, UNLESS the operator of this game has turned off the ability to hold back wins until a certain number of plays are recorded.
I do, I consider it legal cheating.
You probably know the difference by now but the “100% skill game” on this cabinet is legitimate; what is shown in this video is a Prize Locker, the 100% skill variant of Key Master. One could absolutely win every single play if they were good enough. Does this run the arcade the risk of getting cleaned out by a skilled player? Yes - probably the reason they’re not as commonly found as Key Masters.
i noticed a lil knotch on the side of the plastic card where the hole was cut out, maybe it has to hit that specific spot in order to push past it?
Thats the best set of keymaster prizes ive ever seen
i think its time to invest in a wide angle camera lens. My mans head is as big as a beach ball, lord have mercy.
The honesty and payout of that machine is equal to the honest and payout of the clickbait title of this video.
Nice video dude
I won a iPad once but it broke from the fall:(
Really is that true
That is not Possible he is lying they only let the box fall down and then there is a code inside of it that what you give to the counter and then they give you it
Them: it's skill.
Me: it's luck.
As electrician I don't see any sensor that registers if key matches a hole. So I guess it has stepper motors and count steps where the key must be able to win a prize and maybe that plastic piece is angled or as everybody said its rigged not to give a prize unless its paid off with some profit. Some of those even lift/lower the key a little after you release the button to make you fail.
So where’s the cheating part... besides you on your diet, Boss? 😂
these videos give me anxiety xD
Bro I just won a hover board yesterday on that game but that one is so rigged didn’t you see the plastic that made the key not go
This was a great tutorial
great video
At least TWICE I seen that key was in the perfect position it just did not go through the hole. They have the entire top row rigged on purpose, the plastic with the keyhole is mounted at an angle so the key wont go through it unless the key is unlevel
me and my girlfriend went down to try this.. spend 30 dollars about! had the perfect timing.. and everything.. but a little to the bottom.. a bit to the top.. once it tips anything your money is gone
the little kid who has no money using other people’s card he goes up and watches and then ask
I've once exactly put it inside but when the key spins it didn't take out that prize out. The key spinning is quite a challenge
This is so frustrating!! So close 😭
Rigged as hell! You mastered champ. Dont let it discourage you its a SCAM bro. You had excellent tallent that key would never fit in that small of a hole.
True
Wow was up claw boss

If anyone is scrolling the comments to know if they actually TEACH YOU how to win, well....
They don’t.
If the key touches the top it's not due if it touches the bottom it's due
I haven't played this game in years.
Last time I did, I was at a movie theater with my girlfriend and the prize we were going for was $200 cash. We spent anywhere from $10-$15 on that game, no luck. We could've gotten popcorn and two drinks with that money.
I work at a movie theater and my god the arcade we have has these games so badly rigged.
Yeah u got it on the PS4 and the other thing It’s soo annoying anyway thanks for spending the money on the video I enjoyed it 😊😊
Epic Video Clawboss😎😎😎😎
You know for a fact it's rigged. Only way to win is when the machine hits it take in goal and it's ready to pay out just like any other machine of skill.
My favorite arcade prize game is the one where you cut the string. I wish we had a decent arcade around here. The one that was the best for like 20 years just sold out and got rid of every actual arcade game. Then the prize and ticket machines were all that remained. That was okay, because the prize games were the reason I decided to go. The problem is, they had only tickets as the prizes for everything. Claw machines, Prize locker, cut the string, etc. Tickets. Really? Then the prizes that you could get at the counter... smh... 99% of the "large" prizes were bought at a Dollar General in the dollar toy section. If you are ever at a DG go to the $1 toy isle and look for the Ja-Ru brand toys. There was only like two prizes that were worth anything more and they were still a joke. DG has better stuff than that stuff, splurge and get some $5-$10 stuff like Kre-O blocks. You wonder why no one is coming back? Look at the place. It's run down and it is nothing more than a scam now.
Oh and before you say why didn't you check out the games then just leave. I had to pay $40 just to get in the door (2 people). And every game costed $1.50 to $2.50 except for one claw machine that was $1.
Google hickory dickory dock arcade in morganton and check the recent reviews. No one is happy with the new ownership.
I won an ipad on this but was not aloud the prize, the key went through but didn't turn to release the prize. I showed the staff members the video to prove it and they banned me cuz I recorded.
Won a galaxy tablet a couple weeks later on the same game but different arcade and it did release it so was still reasonably happy.
11:47 - 12:34 is the highlight of the video hahaha. The employees didn't care lol.
Used to work in an arcade... the key does fit but it's hard to put it in the top keys even out the machine.
No bro these games are rigged
Brittany Matsco some may be... but a guy I went to HS with used to post videos all the time of him winning on one.... not sure how he did it, but he does
Good video
Love it
same with the one at walmart I got so mad i put my fist throught it and got all the prizes :)

I have won wireless beats on multiple occasions from these machines. They are 100% entirely skill. It is literally a perfect fit. You may think you had the key perfect, however there are literally micro measurements that the key has to fit though. The top rows are set to be the most perfect fit with the other rows having slightly more wiggle room. If you had that same key placement on the DSXL, the machine would most likely have given out the prize. It takes me roughly $30-50 each session to win a prize. With enough practice it is doable every time. It’s just you need to be mindful that as the prizes get higher in value, the amount of skill needed is going to increase tenfold.
Nice advice
It's not 100 percent skill. Google it. Even if you hit the button at the perfect time it will move slightly further to make you lose. The owner of the machine can set it to whatever win ration. There are state regulations though. It can't be set too high. But they can set it to say 1000 dollars for the top row. After 1000 dollars have been fed into the machine the top row becomes winnable. If they set it to 400 dollars. It is 100 percent impossible to win until the 400 dollar "deductable" has been met. After the limit has been reached the game becomes skill based, but not before.
That is for the normal KeyMaster games. This specific model of "get the key in the slot" arcade machines are only operated with a one-time left and up option making it a skill based game. It is similar to the Balloon Buster games where there are variations that are skill (the machines with the circular holes and one-time up and across buttons) and the rigged versions (wider slots, joystick to move left and right). I know there are options to set payout rates, but with the type of slot shown in the video having the small slit cut into it for the key to perfectly fit, it is not rigged. The only way it would be rigged is if the slots were that on the OG KeyMaster machines that were the first model.
That means the pay due is $30-$50
No they are rigged all of them. I use to work on those machines
Lmao those kids were losing it 🤣🤣🤣
have to hit the key dead center of the lock as well, there's a little notch in the center where the key can go through but you have to get the up/down and left/right movement perfect. It is a skill game but it's so difficult it may as well be considered luck.
Most of the time the key is simply to big to fit in the slot
The whole doesn’t fit the key it’s a waste of money
So I went to my movie arcade one time and got the card to scan.Whenever I scanned it it said no money!!!So went to the person that gave you the card and told him to put more money on it.So he did. After he did that it didn’t work that time either!so i told the dude it wasn’t working, and he said “look I don’t know lady!!”
Sorry, but I just have to say this, it's really shocking how fat young people in the USA often are. I think the state should do a lot more to prevent this and educate people in schools. A friend of mine died of diabetes when he was just 23 years old. I say this because the guy who plays here seems like a really nice guy and it really makes me a little sad to know what health problems and probably early death could await him at a young age.
Bruh why’s he going for the normal new Nintendo 3Ds there’s a galaxy new nintendo 3Ds
Wasnt perfect. Won this game many x repeated x in a row. You must practice more its 100 percent skill. No rig no flywheel just fast motion. The clearance is litterally zero mm. Most wins hit top and bottom of hole simul and it punches through. The clearance is zero so getting close is hard to handle if your eyesight usnt better than 20 20. Great game totally beatable. Ours only has smaller gift cards that one is a gold mine. Tell me where that is and ill.clean it out.
humphrey bogarden Bullshit. This game is 100% rigged. You must be an arcade owner.
You can CLEARLY see the plastic is bent back at top causing an angle. IF you have the EXACT right position to win, the key will NOT fit the whole because of the angle and the zero tolerance precision of fitment. ONLY chance of this particular machine paying out for that ps4 would be if plastic piece was perfectly vertical.
if you noticed the bottom of the opening is kicked out towards the ram and the ram is level it won't go through since it will either hang up on the top or the bottom
Yep
I love him sm he stuck up for himself and he had it too that is so rigged

If it’s too high that means it’s not due to pay out yet u can’t win if it’s below you could have a pay out
My God, zooming, tilting, forward, backward, up, down.... SERIOUSLY!!! Does your camera guy have A.D.D.??

somehow i always win at this game (like 4-5 times in a row) i always thought its about skills
It is lol
Do u not see the 100% skilled ganw
I played once for a while then I realized that there was a little slit that the top of the key has to go through on the side in order to win smh
Our local mall has the same but it doesn’t do what this video shows ours does the thing when you timed it perfectly it goes about 0.50 seconds instead of stopping immediately I really hate that it doesn’t stop immediately after letting go of the button but it’s stops immediately when you press it too early or too late
There’s a tiny little half moon on the right end of the key that’ll just perfectly allow the key to fit through in the PS4 card. It may be in different spots in each price box so you HAVE to check the plexiglass around the hole you’re trying to enter before even playing. Lol This is the hardest one to win imo.
Thats a rip off
I had this game tonight and felt it. Saw it move an extra mm up and it failed me. I tried about 30 times in total and made it maybe twice. It's definitely rigged. But one time I was certain I had it.

The machine is cheating
There are a couple guys on here that I've watched. They go to arcades with devices that they made, and use them to both win and test the games' "truthfulness." It was the one where a light circles a table and you have to stop it on the Jackpot. They device they used, they tested over and over again...always winning with their device. When they went to the arcade to use it, it would never hit the jackpot....(they were able to do all of this because they hid their device in a backpack they set up on the ledge).
After they brought it back, they watched the high-speed recording that they filmed. The device was hitting it on time. But it would always hit either 1 before or 1 after. When it comes to games like these, I'd prefer the ones where you need to either toss something or hit something. I know those are also made to be more difficult. But with enough skill, you can beat them. These games are just like casinos....they're programmed to payout at certain times.

This game is a 100% skill game there is no setting for it. I have gone to two different tips of round one location (Illinois and Michigan) and so fare I have won 6 Xbox one and a Samsung tablet from the Illinois location and 30,000 ticket in Michigan just this weekend what I have learned from playing this game is that some holes are actually a tiny bigger then other ones. What I also noticed is that the PS4 you were going for is actually in a angle so that can make it harder as well. That DS looked like a bigger hole then the other ones (by just the look from my view). If you don't believe me look up my instagram the last time I went to round one I killed it with my girl she one a Xbox and so did I. There is going to be another picture I took from then I went to round one out in Michigan soon it's all a 100% skill just have to have a good eye.

Just 100% my fault my phone is not letting me post pictures since this comment on instagram I’ll try to repost it in a couple hours on my girls phone I just haven’t really had the time but I got you guys
Kevin Rea it is not possible to win.. I'd call the police. And report the theft from inoccent customers.
Call the cops and say an arcade game stole your money and they will 100% laugh right in your face.
Your skill was not 100%
The key does fit but the holes designed for the key to barely fit like there’s zero room for mistakes they make you pay 3x the prize value before it pays out if you look at the hole the holes not perfectly cut the top has that tiny notch
You can win the key games. If you take a stop watch and time the movement sideways then time the movement up you can adjust slightly each time and instead of even looking you time it you could get it every time with out even looking.👌✌

OK lets put this argument to rest once and for all. I worked for the world 3rd largest arcade amusement company in the world. I hate to break any ones ego's or hurt anyone's feeling by posting this. But HELL YES THERE RIGGED. There is a computer control unit inside that let me tell it the value of the prize, and what throw rate to set it at. "throw rate is % of win ratio" Now on Keymaster's, Winners Cube, Giant Stackers, as far as that goes. even the cranes. We at the company knew that you set prize value and our throw rate was 18% So to win a $400.00 prize that machine would bring in well over $ 2800.00 played on that prize before it would hit. Cranes are the same way. On Ice Cranes the options were 8 and 16 in the control panel. You set how many quarters the value of the prize. example $ 5.00 prize would be programed at 20 and throw rate of 18%. We could even set initial grab strength , and then retention strength. To make you feel like "Damn i almost had it that time and stick more money in." I remember being scolded for calling them a game of chance. "NO THERE A SKILL GAME" ..........BULLSH$T. I worked in the industry for 20 years. We got bought out by said Japanese company and things changed. It wasn't always like this. But when the consumer got tired of playing for small prizes they upped the stakes. If you think rationally, then you can realize that no one in there right mind would put high value prizes in a machine and possibly lose there hind end on skilled players.
When we used to install those machines, we would have to put shims under the back feet of the machine so its un even.....
