I finally got around to riding my first freight elevator! I took advantage of this while the passenger was broken and was going through a motor replacement at the moment. Excuse the things I said about “suspicious activity.” This was a first time for me and I had permission.
Tech Specs:
Brand: Otis/Epco SSL
Originally: Otis
Maintenance: Couldn't see. I'm pretty sure that certificate was original from 1962.
Model/Fixture: Epco SSL
Type: Hydraulic
Floors Served: LL, 1-3
DT Rate: 7/10 Bad leveling going down and awkward leveling going up. Doors are not that great either.
The old elevator is back
That door is *T H I C C*
Can't wait! Also, today I told myself I'm going to Walt Whitman Shops soon since I would like to do a store tour of Bloomingdale's.
I recommend doing so while the Macys passenger is broken so you can get on this too.
Welp, the infamous passenger public elevator we all love at this store now appears to be getting a modernization.
It's not. It went through a motor replacement. I have a video.
The it got a new epic D pitched motor. I think the new motor is much more epic than the previous one ngl.
@@Photoelectric_Elevators oh ok, now I see. My bad lol.

Dang you weren't afraid to go on it. I could never lmao. I need to go with someone else lol.
The maintenance is probably Schindler knowing Macy's.
Probably
@@Photoelectric_Elevators yeah pretty much lmao
@@Photoelectric_Elevators epic motor
Congratulations!
What brand of freight doors did the freight have on the top floor?

F**KIN epic motor!
