    I'm a big Fan. You made it so easy to get started wrapping Stones. What do you use to clean up blemishes on the wire when done?

    What do you do with the excess wire cuts please?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  5 місяців тому

      You can save them and use for little chain links or just to have on hand when you need just a small piece.

    I love the crisscross pendant from 6/8/24. Any suggestions for using this design for a smaller stone, possibly in silver? Thank you.

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  5 місяців тому +1

      Yes sterling silver can be substituted for the copper in any of my tutorials. If the stone is super tiny it might be tricky. If your stone is at least 3/4 of an inch I think this design should work, I'd use slightly thinner base wires since the stone is smaller, 21 gauge square instead of 20 like I use in this video.

    love your work.! What brand of wire do you use? I can't find everything at rio grande or it is that I don't know what to look for, Half round and square seem to be hard to find.

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  4 місяці тому

      My wire is from Rio Grande, they typically just have one listing for the square and on the page you select the gauge you want. You can search for square copper soft wire in their search bar and it should come up

    Question: Could you use round wire too?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Місяць тому +1

      You can for some of the designs, but for this one it would be too difficult I think to use all round wires.

      @@OxanaCrafts I just only have round 18 gauge, but watching it looks like that would work?

    Can I use round wire for this as well?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  5 місяців тому +1

      You could possibly make it work with round wire instead of the square. But the half round wire can not be substituted for round in this case, I don't think it would work.

      @@OxanaCrafts Did you see my idea/question regarding designing a coaster mold that has a juice groove in it? You know the little groove that runs along the margins of a cutting board to keep liquid from rolling onto the counter? I live in a very humid environment and when we have cold drinks the condensation from the glass rolls off of these resin coasters and ruins the wood around where they sit.
      If you design and make coaster molds with the juice groove, I'd buy them!
