I just got my new Norco Sight A2 2021 model, and I've been soo stoked to ride it. But the first thing I did was go and watch some of your videos to get in the mood. Your riding skills are awesome, love your content.

@17:26, you cleared that section better than most of the pros did. The only ones I saw in the highlights take that same line and clean it were Rude, Melamed, Connolly and Harnden. Moir took a weird high line to the right
Love to see you doing an EWS100 but always happy to see whatever you are excited to ride! We should convince GT bikes to get you over and hang out with Matt Jones for red bull hardline!
I've done 3 Enduros (I think). The over mountain race at highland in 2011 back when nobody knew what enduro . This was coincidently Richie Rude's first Enduro I think, One ESC in 2015/16, and Then US open in 2019 but I think that's it.

Having watched your video for a couple years now that was pretty fun to see! First enduro for me so I've got a lot to learn, but your videos have been a great resource for me trying to improve!
Wow that stage 6 was gnarly! Even though I've now got a crick in the neck I like that camera angle as it gives the viewer a better idea of the jank! 😱🙏🏼
Funny....I was watching you start the ride and talking about the lack of gloves....moved the screen up because I thought I was down and trying to look up....then you popped on with the PSA.
It's so frustrating isn't it? Here the camera angle is right where it's supposed to be, but the Field of view is cropped in a bit which makes it feel like it's point to far down. That being said, sometimes when you're tired, you tend to bury your head and look down which can also affect the camera angle.

Lol jk… for real tho idk if it’s just a thing with mountain bikers liking to tinker with camera settings etc but horse sport riders have adopted a low profile visor camera made in France by cambox that maybe isn’t as hi-res as GoPro (tho I’m pretty sure mine does 4K) but is super small, clicks into place, and hides right under my helmet visor
Like the fact that you brought your wonderful wife with you And that you both are having such a good time And I'm pretty sure you're going to tear up those down hills to the best of your abilities and probably just a little bit more I've seen what you can do on burm peak and it Whistler and a few others
From seeing some other riders POV it looks like stage 6 will be the deciding factor with who takes the win. Will it be Jesse winning another one or will local Pro Richie Rude claim it? Should be a banger of a race! Best of luck to you, Phil!
Love the content, wish I could make it to an enduro race I was gonna hit one at blue mountain on the 27 of august but I can’t make it so I lost out on the registration fees :(. I will definitely be going when I can 😂!
I haven't been watching very long or been actually been hitting mountain bike trails for long either (but I have been biking and bmxing for a while so I'm sorta comfortable on trials) but you have given me (and my friend) little more comfortable biking and you have been supplying lots of entertaining content too. Do you still post mtb content in the winter too?

Not really. GoPro's didn't have stabilization when I was still racing and there was no way I was going to race with a gimbal on and those were really a thing either. By the way when you decide to actually do the race I really truly hope you decide to change the angle of your GoPro like more upwards so I can see the trail I'm seeing more of your handlebars than anything
For pov I'm almost always running Superview. The extra view horizon and ground really helps give a bit more perspective. I will sometimes switch to wide if I'm talking and looking to directly to the camera.
@@SkillsWithPhil yeah I do moto vlogging and run super view I just leave my go pro on super view tho. Only down side is you can't see how tight corners are or how steep hills are.

I was wondering if you knew my dad, Brian Page. My grandpa is the police chief in saint jay. I ride at green woodlands by warren, NH and I really want to ride Cady hill in Stowe. If you could maybe contact me or my dad we can maybe ride someday
I think maybe there was a miss understanding. I did go to school in montpelier for a few years, but I didn't grow up in barre. My friends did have a house in barre at which we'd hang out though :)

40 min is too long to find the time to watch in one sit in my opinion.
Two! Then the content would be farther apart so I can enjoy it most!! Whatever you want to do but that’s my opinion on it. Will be happy either way!
